Larissa Judson and Haskell Palmer novel Chapter 275

Honora remained silent. She couldn’t bring herself to beg. The thought of her life being in Larissa’s hands, of having to grovel for her survival, was unbearable. If there was any begging to be done, Finley would have to do it for her.

But Finley just stared at Larissa, his jaw tight, saying nothing.

Larissa opened her needle case and, starting with the two guests who had pleaded first, inserted three needles into each of them. Then, she took out a small vial, shook out two pills, and gave one to each.

“Swallow this.”

Without hesitation, they swallowed the pills dry, not even waiting for water.

Next, Larissa produced another small black jar. She opened it and tipped two black leeches onto the victims’ legs. The leeches immediately attached themselves to the bite wounds and began to suck.

A wave of revulsion went through the crowd.

“I have to say, that Larissa girl is seriously strange. Who just carries things like that around?”

“And they look like she raised them herself.”

“Does that mean she really was the one who summoned all those creatures…?”

“Let’s just see if she can save them first. We can talk about that later.”

Finley’s expression darkened. If a few leeches were enough to unnerve them, what would they think if they knew Larissa kept venomous snakes in her home?

The renowned doctor, however, was watching with awe.

“Incredible! Absolutely incredible!” he exclaimed. “Ms. Judson, where did you learn this technique? Your speed, your precision—you’re able to pinpoint the optimal acupressure points for each individual’s condition!”

A look of pure joy spread across their faces. They couldn’t believe it. A few needles, a pill, and a couple of leeches, and the effect was almost instantaneous.

Seeing this, the other victims began to plead.

“…Please, Ms. Judson, help me too.”

“Please, treat me next.”

All five of the remaining victims, except for Honora, begged for her help.

“Don’t worry, one at a time,” Larissa said calmly. “None of you will die. Well, except for maybe one of you.”

She cast a pointed look toward the Judson family’s table before turning back to her work, administering needles and pills to the remaining five victims.
