Larissa Judson and Haskell Palmer novel Chapter 427

After making the bet with “Prodigal Prince” in the "Regal City Tattler" group, Larissa tuned out the chat. She pulled up the detailed analysis of Regal City's entertainment companies that Rafe had prepared for her and started reading. He had done a thorough job, highlighting which companies were controlled by the Lincoln family and compiling a list of potential scandals involving their signed artists.

Before long, her phone rang. It was Nightveil. She closed the file and answered.

"Boss, the video of Jagger and his mistress has been successfully replaced and released. Our online campaign has made it go viral in just ten minutes."

A slow smile spread across Larissa's face. Lucius was finally getting a taste of his own medicine. She loved turning her enemies' tactics against them, leaving them with nowhere to run.

"Excellent. Find Lucius's private number and send it to me."

"Yes... By the way, Boss, what are your instructions for Honora?"

The mention of Honora's name made Larissa's eyes darken. She had expected Paxton’s family to take their anger out on the girl, but they had handed her over to the Lincolns almost immediately, completely unconcerned that she could be used against Larissa. She had overestimated the last shred of decency in that family.

"Honora has a father, doesn't she? A degenerate gambler with a mountain of debt, the one who does her dirty work. Give her to him. Then let the debt collectors know where to find them."

Knowing Honora's father, now that his daughter was no longer a cash cow, he would surely squeeze every last drop of value out of her to pay off his debts.

Larissa's gaze was merciless. "Once they've torn each other apart, turn over the evidence of all their crimes to the police. Let the whole family of three have a reunion in prison."

"Understood."

"That's right, it's me."

"You actually have the nerve to call me?" His voice was a low growl, each word practically bitten off.

Larissa's tone grew even lighter. "Why wouldn't I? I haven't broken any laws, and it's not my sex tape that's currently making the rounds online and disgracing my family's name, is it?"

As her words landed, she heard a distinct crash on the other end of the line. A smirk touched her lips. It seemed she'd gotten under his skin.

"Fine, Larissa. You're clever," Lucius said, his voice strained with forced control, yet still radiating a chilling menace. "Tell me, why did you call?"
