Larissa Judson and Haskell Palmer novel Chapter 646

[As long as Starlight Media keeps these two disgraced actors in “Heaven's Will”, I’m boycotting all of their artists!]

[I’m disgusted! One blacklisted actor is bad enough, but two? It’s hard not to think Larissa did this on purpose. Birds of a feather flock together, I guess?]

Just then, a knock came at the door.

“Come in.”

Ursa burst in, practically vibrating with excitement. “Ms. Judson, that freelancer you brought in, Plum? She told me to tell you that the post-production for the new songs is finished!”

“And that’s what has you so excited?” Larissa teased. “What are you going to do when the songs are released and they completely blow Leopold’s out of the water? Pass out?”

She had grown to like Ursa. The secretary was competent, if a bit emotional and transparent. While not the ideal executive assistant, she was straightforward and lacked guile, which Larissa found refreshing.

“It’s just… you said Plum would be handling all the post-production by herself,” Ursa stammered. “I was so worried she wouldn’t finish before your birthday, but she did it all in such a short time!”

Larissa gestured to the chair opposite her. “Want to have a listen?”

Ursa’s eyes widened. “I can listen with you?”

“I can’t just admire my own work forever,” Larissa said with a smile. “I need to hear what someone else thinks. Unless you don’t want to be the first?”

“I do! Of course, I do!” Ursa gulped. “Ms. Judson, I would love to!”

“Then come here,” Larissa said, a playful glint in her eye. “Plum just sent me the files.”

...

Fifteen minutes later, Ursa walked out of the CEO’s office in a daze. She floated through the main office area, oblivious to her surroundings until a coworker called out, “Ursa, what’s wrong with you?”

After Ursa left, Larissa called Nightveil.

“Nightveil, send someone to Starlight Media to pick something up from me. It needs to be delivered to Livia.”

“Understood.”

“Also,” Larissa added, “I need you to dig up all the dirt you can find on Damon Tyson’s illegitimate son and his mistress.”

She had made a promise to Livia. It was time to deal with Theon and his mother.

“Right away, Boss.”

Nightveil knew what this meant. After weeks of provocations from Gale Entertainment, her boss was finally ready to dismantle the Tyson family, piece by piece.
