Larissa Judson and Haskell Palmer novel Chapter 852

After saying goodbye to Larissa at the entrance of Judson Pharmaceuticals, Haskell got into his car and gave a direct order to Crispin in the driver's seat. "Get a team together immediately. I want a full investigation into Haven Health."

"Right away, sir," Crispin replied without a moment's hesitation.

Sapphira lay in bed, her eyes tightly closed, but sleep was impossible. The image of her husband being led away by the police played over and over in her mind.

The anxiety became too much to bear. She sat up, picked up her phone, and started searching for any new updates online.

She opened a news app and searched for articles about the medical incident caused by the Judson Pharmaceuticals equipment failure and her husband Neville's subsequent arrest.

As she expected, the news had been a trending topic since yesterday, flooded with endless comments and speculation.

Sapphira read through each article and comment, her heart growing heavier with every word.

[Judson Pharmaceuticals is Larissa's family company, right?]

[Yeah! It's the original Judson family business! Starlight Media is just her new thing!]

[Holy crap! Isn't Judson Pharmaceuticals a century-old company? And they're still making shoddy products? Now they've caused a medical malpractice incident at a hospital!]

[This is terrifying when you think about it. These problems only started after Larissa came back to the Judson family! Judson Pharmaceuticals never had issues this big before!]

[Are you saying Larissa told the employees to cut corners to make more money?]

[I didn't say that. All I know is they arrested the patriarch's eldest son, Neville, not the granddaughter, Larissa! And this batch of faulty equipment only went into production in the last few months!]

"Larissa." Sapphira hurried down the stairs, her face etched with worry. "How did it go?"

Seeing her mother's distress, Larissa quickly tried to comfort her. "It's still under investigation. Mom, don't worry too much. I came back specifically to let you know so you wouldn't be anxious."

Sapphira gave a wry smile and shook her head. "Larissa, you don't need to worry about me. I trust that if this isn't your father's or the company's fault, the truth will come out. But if it is Judson Pharmaceuticals' fault… then someone has to be held accountable for what happened."

Larissa fell silent for a moment before replying, "Haskell is helping me investigate. We should have some answers soon."

Sapphira nodded. "Good, that's good."

Then she remembered something else. "By the way, this is all over the internet, and some people are spreading rumors that you're to blame. Don't let it get to you."
