Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 212

It seemed his only option left was to find the so-called poison expert from the auction house. He would have to stake the place out until she appeared.

“Starting today, I want someone watching the main Regal City auction house around the clock. If anyone puts a rare medicinal herb up for sale, I want to know immediately.”

“Yes, Mr. Judson.”

After hanging up, Finley leaned back in his chair, exhausted. He spun slowly, staring out at the city lights. He had been wrong. His whole family had been wrong. Larissa was far more dangerous than any of them had imagined.

But it was too late to back down now. He wondered if things would be different if he had investigated her first, instead of immediately acting on Leopold’s complaints.

But regret was useless now.

As Larissa had said, it was a fight to the death. His only path forward was to find a cure for the poison, defeat her by any means necessary, and break her spirit so completely that she could never get back up again.

With renewed resolve, Finley decided he wasn't ready to go home. He wanted to check on Leopold. He left the office and drove straight to the hospital.

Honora, growing weary of Vivica’s anxious instructions, simply nodded obediently. “I understand, Mom.”

“That damn Larissa!” Vivica cursed as she left. “Putting my son in a coma and then profiting from it! If Leopold doesn’t wake up, I’ll make her pay. She can have all the money in the world, but she won’t live to spend it!”

After Vivica was gone, Honora closed the door, her face hardening. She walked over to the bed and stared down at Leopold, her expression filled with contempt.

“You know, Leopold,” she began, her voice dripping with scorn, “your parents were thoroughly humiliated by that little bitch today. They went to confront her, only to find out there’s security footage of you tampering with her brakes. To compensate her, that old bastard gave her ten percent of Judson Pharmaceuticals and thirty percent of Starlight Media.”
