Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 260

“Zendar, Luther, Kimberly, you’re here!”

At the sound of Larissa’s voice, Zendar’s disdainful expression immediately melted into a warm smile as he looked toward the entrance.

“Larissa!”

Pushing Haskell’s wheelchair, Larissa quickly made her way through the crowd toward the three of them.

“Zendar, thank you all for coming all this way!”

“Nonsense,” Zendar said dismissively. “It’s your engagement party. We would have come even if we were on another planet!”

“We’re working on a project right now, so the others couldn’t make it,” Luther added. “But the three of us are here to represent everyone.”

Larissa knew that these three were the most influential figures from their hidden community. Their presence was a massive statement.

“By the way,” Larissa said, turning to Haskell, “Zendar, Luther, Kimberly, I’d like to introduce you to my fiancé, Haskell.”

“A pleasure to meet you all,” Haskell said with a gentle smile.

Zendar nudged his friends. “See? I told you her fiancé was handsome. I met him back in the village.”

Kimberly studied Haskell with approval. “The young man is indeed very handsome.”

Paxton, left standing awkwardly to the side, decided to retreat to his table. But just as he turned to leave, Larissa’s voice stopped him. “Oh, right. Zendar, this is my uncle, Paxton. He was hoping to talk to you about a partnership.”

“Aunt Josette.”

Josette forced a strained smile. “Yes, dear?” she said, silently praying Larissa wouldn’t humiliate her in front of everyone.

But Larissa had no intention of letting her off the hook. “Do you remember our bet, Aunt Josette?”

Josette’s hands clenched under the table. Her awkward expression hardened into resentment. “…I remember,” she said reluctantly.

“Good. I didn’t think you were old enough to be forgetful yet.” Larissa smiled sweetly. “And I do care about our family’s reputation. I won’t make you disgrace the Judson name by kneeling to me in front of all these people. We can save that for tomorrow.”

She emphasized the word “kneeling,” and with each mention, Josette’s face grew a shade darker.
