Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 472

“Exactly! Wasn’t she just some country girl selling herbal remedies? How much could she have possibly earned from that? Even with the rights from her first three books, it couldn’t be that much!”

“But she wouldn’t be bluffing, would she? This whole thing is being live-streamed. Falsifying a transaction like this would have legal consequences.”

“Well, if she’s really putting up 500 million for her own copyright, then I guess we can’t complain about our time being wasted.”

They had all assumed Larissa would sell the rights to her own company for a nominal fee. The fact that she was conducting a legitimate, high-value transaction proved she wasn’t just playing games. With that, any lingering resentment among the remaining companies vanished.

“Alright, Ursa, go back and have the team start preparing for casting and pre-production,” Larissa instructed. “And Leila will be our female lead.”

Leila looked at Larissa, her eyes shining with a mixture of gratitude and awe.

“Yes, Ms. Judson!” Ursa replied, practically buzzing with energy. She felt a deep sense of shame for ever doubting her boss. She had almost been as shortsighted as Magnus. From that moment on, she vowed to follow Ms. Judson loyally, for as long as she was employed.

Sharon, having witnessed the entire event, turned to her friend. “It’s no wonder my idiot brother is so head-over-heels for her. She is truly exceptional. What everyone thought was an ill-matched engagement now looks like the deal of a lifetime for Haskell.”

“What, changing your tune? You want Larissa as a sister-in-law now?” her friend teased.

“No,” Sharon said thoughtfully. “My idiot brother doesn’t deserve her. In all of Regal City, perhaps only Haskell is her equal.”

“That’s high praise.”

After signing the official copyright agreement with Starlight Media, the event concluded, and the live stream ended.

Leopold, who had been waiting anxiously outside Paddy’s Home, finally relaxed. His sister had handled Lucius and the other companies perfectly. His worries had been for nothing. She was far too smart and capable to be caught off guard.

He adjusted his baseball cap and was about to leave when he heard a voice as cold as ice behind him.

It was Lucius.

“Find a screenwriter immediately,” Lucius ordered. “I want a script with a similar theme to ‘Heaven’s Will’. I want it filmed and released before Starlight Media’s version. I am going to bury their show in the dust.”
