Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 605

Haskell opened the file and zoomed in on the results.

The report confirmed it: Rigby Schwartz was, without a doubt, his biological brother.

Though he had felt it in his gut, seeing the truth in black and white made his breath catch in his throat. For a fleeting moment, it felt as if all the air had been sucked out of the room.

He slowly lowered the phone, leaning back in his wheelchair and closing his eyes. He massaged his temples, trying to calm the storm of emotions raging within him.

After a long moment, Haskell took a deep, steadying breath and opened his eyes, his gaze falling back on the report.

Finally. A wave of relief washed over him. He had finally found his brother.

Now, he would take Rigby and Sire and confront Thatch. The man who had destroyed his mother and torn his family apart would finally pay for what he had done.

Allowing himself another moment to compose himself, Haskell picked up his phone and dialed Larissa, wanting to share the news with her.

At Starlight Media’s recording studio, Larissa listened to the final takes of her three new songs. Satisfied, she turned to her sound engineer. “Plum, I’m leaving the post-production in your hands. Can you get it done in time?”

Plum gave her a thumbs-up. “You got it, Chief! Piece of cake. I’ll have it done ahead of schedule, guaranteed!”

Back in her office, Larissa called in her secretary, Ursa. “My three tracks are recorded and going to Plum for post-production. Once they’re finished, schedule their official release on Ruby Rhythm for my birthday.”

With the launch of three new songs, she was confident that she and Starlight Media would dominate at least three of Twitter’s top trending spots that day.

Ursa looked surprised. “Can Plum handle all the post-production by herself in time?”

“Don’t worry about that. Your job is to coordinate with Ruby Rhythm and make sure everything is set for the launch.”

He chuckled. “The first, of course, was meeting you.”

Larissa laughed. “Haskell, you’re so direct with your compliments! Even I’m starting to blush.”

“That’s because I know you like to hear them,” he said smoothly.

She twirled a pen between her fingers. “It’s a shame Rigby isn’t ready to go public yet, and Sire doesn’t want him to move into the Palmer estate. Otherwise, you could throw a massive celebration.”

“I don’t mind waiting,” Haskell said. “Once I’m officially named the heir to the Palmer family, I think Sire will finally trust that I can protect my brother.”

“Right. And your legs are almost fully recovered,” Larissa added, her tone becoming more serious. “But… your grandfather’s announcement is getting closer. Solomon Palmer won’t give up after his last failure. He’ll be back for more.”

“And then there’s Fraser Palmer. We haven’t heard a peep from him, which probably means he’s planning something big.”
