Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 644

The mention of Avril made Larissa pause. “Really?”

Come to think of it, Avril did message her a lot. Even though Larissa’s replies were often brief and she never initiated conversation, Avril still texted her almost every day with interesting tidbits and encouragement.

“Well,” Larissa said, “after I meet your friends, maybe I can introduce you to some of my… associates.”

“I’d like that,” Haskell smiled.

...

After their call, Larissa opened her chat with Avril. She had sent several messages today.

[Larissa, I voted for you in the poll against Leopold! I made all my friends vote for you too! I know it’s just a drop in the bucket, but I promise I’ll be the first to buy your new songs!]

Larissa had replied simply: [Thanks!]

Later, after Leopold’s tweet, another message came through.

[This Leopold is even more disgusting than Milton! At least Milton is just Lucius’s lapdog. Leopold talks about wanting your forgiveness, but then he stabs you in the back again and again. I really hope his career crashes and burns!]

Her reply had been just as brief: [Stay calm. He’s not worth getting angry over.]

The last message, sent just before her call with Haskell, was a series of screenshots of Avril’s conversation with Torrin.

[Larissa, I got it out of him! You won’t believe what Torrin is planning to give you for your birthday! He’s going to give you the 5% stake in his father’s food delivery company—the one he got as compensation for being abandoned!]

[Okay, I’m telling Torrin right now that it was me he’s been talking to all this time!]

...

Avril leaped out of bed and started jumping up and down.

“She invited me to her house for dinner! Oh my god! My heart is going to explode!”

She took a deep breath to calm herself. “First, I have to deal with Torrin.”

She switched back to her chat with him and, following Larissa’s instructions, revealed her identity.
