Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 713

Haskell saw Torrin approaching. His expression hardened slightly as he turned to his grandfather. “Grandpa, please go on ahead.”

Zoltan recognized the Dillon boy instantly. He shot him a single, dismissive glance before allowing his own attendant to escort him through the gates of the Judson estate.

Torrin stopped in front of Haskell, his face dark with resentment.

“Haskell, I admit I can’t compete with you right now,” he said, his voice tight with frustration. “But I will never give up on Larissa. If you ever treat her wrong, I’ll be there to swoop in and make her mine again.”

Haskell remained unfazed, a faint, confident smile playing on his lips. “I’m afraid you won’t get the chance.”

His calmness only infuriated Torrin more. “What makes you so sure? Can you guarantee you’ll treat her perfectly for the rest of your life?”

“I don’t need to make guarantees,” Haskell replied, his gaze steady. “Because for me, losing her would be the same as losing every bit of wealth I possess.”

“What do you mean?” Torrin asked, confused.

“I had the same idea as you,” Haskell explained. “To offer her something tangible for her birthday. But while you offered a portion of your shares, I’m offering my entire net worth.”

Torrin was stunned. “You mean… you promised her that if you ever cheat on her or wrong her, she gets everything you own?”

He shoved a leather briefcase toward Haskell. “These are gifts I tried to give Larissa in the past, but she refused most of them. Her birthday present for this year is in here too. Give it to her for me.”

Without waiting for a reply, Torrin turned, got into his sports car, and sped away with a roar of the engine.

Crispin, standing behind the wheelchair, watched the car disappear. “Sir, should I have someone teach him a lesson for speaking to you like that?”

“It doesn’t matter,” Haskell said with a calm smile, completely unbothered by Torrin’s insults. “He’s right. I am a cripple, for now.”

“What about these gifts?” Crispin asked, gesturing to the briefcase.
