Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 753

Josette’s face went deathly pale, as if she had been struck by lightning. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

“What?” she stammered, her voice trembling. “What do you mean, Paxton is going to prison? What happened?”

Larissa’s lips curled into a mocking smile. “What do you mean, ‘what happened’? Are you really going to play dumb, Josette? You knew about Paxton’s plan, didn’t you?”

A stone dropped in Josette’s stomach. She realized Paxton’s scheme must have been exposed. Her knees went weak, and she nearly collapsed. Still, she tried to feign indignation. “I have no idea what nonsense you’re spouting! Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because your grandfather isn't here! I won’t let you bully me!”

Larissa laughed dismissively. “Oh, with Grandpa gone, I can do exactly as I please. As for you, did you really think you had a permanent place here at the Judson estate?”

With that, Larissa turned to the villa’s butler. “Go and bring Paxton to me.”

Josette froze.

A few moments later, Paxton was dragged before Larissa.

Larissa looked at him, her expression cold and her voice steady. “Did Josette know about your plan to hire a hitman to kill your wife?”

The question was a dagger to Paxton’s heart. His face turned ashen, and he couldn't escape her piercing gaze.

“Where is your grandfather? I want to see your grandfather!” Paxton blustered, a note of panic in his voice.

“She will! Of course, she will!” Paxton insisted desperately. “We’ve been through so much together. She’ll understand my reasons. I was confused, manipulated by Lucius! He forced me to do it! I never meant to frame you by having her killed. It was all Lucius!”

A smirk touched Larissa’s lips. “Is that so? Then why don’t we let you ask Vivica yourself?”

She dialed Leopold’s number to see if Vivica was truly as forgiving as he claimed.

The call connected, but the line was silent.

“Leopold, where’s your mother? Is she awake?” Larissa asked directly.
