Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 759

Helena stared at Larissa’s unrepentant face, spat out a single, cold word—“Incorrigible”—and turned back into the house.

Lucius knew what that meant. His grandmother was leaving the rest to him.

Suddenly, a group of bodyguards emerged from behind Avril, surrounding her and Larissa.

“Larissa, watch out! It’s an ambush!” Avril yelped, scrambling behind Larissa.

Larissa glanced around at the guards, her composure unshaken. “What, you’re going to attack me in broad daylight?”

Lucius stepped out of the main gate and advanced on Larissa, his taller frame looming over her. “Larissa,” he said, his voice dangerously low, “you were the one who drugged the guests at Neverending Night, weren’t you? And you were the one who leaked the videos this morning, right?”

Larissa just shrugged, completely unafraid. “You said it yourself. Without proof, it’s just slander.”

“Larissa, who are you, really?” Lucius pressed, his brow furrowed.

“Who could I be? I’m just the long-lost daughter of the Judson family,” Larissa said, then her tone shifted. “By the way, who are you planning to pin this on this time? Let’s see… the Lincoln family has plenty of side branches. I wonder if any of them are willing to take the fall for you. Or maybe you could use Josette and Jagger’s son… what was his name again? Fergus Lincoln, I think.”

The blatant contempt in her voice was the last straw for Lucius.

“You really think I won’t kill you!”

With no warning, Lucius swung at her. Something glinted between his fingers.

Lucius froze completely. He didn’t even dare to breathe too deeply, afraid that any movement would cause the wire to tighten. He could feel it pressing against his skin. With the slightest pull, it would slice through his flesh as easily as a razor.

The other bodyguards saw what was happening and started to move in, weapons raised.

“Stop! Don’t come any closer!” Lucius roared, his voice carrying an authority they couldn’t defy. They all froze in place.

Lucius took a deep breath, trying to keep his voice steady. He glared at Larissa, his teeth clenched. “Larissa, I don’t believe you have the guts to kill me.”

A faint, contemptuous smile touched Larissa’s lips. “You’re right, I wouldn’t kill you in broad daylight. But…”
