Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 763

Avril stared at Larissa’s profile, the winter sun casting a faint golden halo around her. She looked more dazzling than any warrior goddess Avril had ever seen in her comics.

Larissa was just so damn cool. Her cousin was lucky to have caught her eye.

“Larissa, next time there’s some action, you have to call me!” Avril said, already eager for the next adventure.

Larissa smiled. “Alright. In three days, I’ll need your help with the livestream of me walking Milton.”

“You can count on me! I already bought the leash!” Avril puffed out her chest, adding with a wink, “I got the limited-edition one with the studs!”

Larissa laughed. “Excellent taste.”

“Of course! It has to be a good show!”

Just then, Larissa’s phone rang. It was Nightveil.

“Larissa, I’ll wait for you in the car,” Avril said, stuffing her hands in her pockets and jogging back to the vehicle.

Larissa answered the call.

“Boss, this hitman is tougher than Siberian permafrost. We’ve used every conventional interrogation method, and even with the torment from your poison, he’s on the brink of death but won’t admit Lucius hired him. We’ve checked all his devices, but everything’s been wiped clean and is untraceable.”

In short, there was no direct proof linking him to Lucius. It was no wonder Lucius had chosen this particular hitman. He was clearly a professional, able to withstand both Nightveil’s interrogation and her poison without breaking.

Larissa glanced back at the police station. “Stop the interrogation. Just send him to the South Precinct. He can testify against Paxton.”

“Got it.”

With Ms. Judson’s assurance, Ursa felt a wave of relief. It meant Wynn and Rigby would be cleared, and the negativity wouldn't taint the “Heaven's Will” project. She had been worried they’d pour millions into a film that would never see the light of day.

After Ursa left, Larissa scrolled through the trending topics on social media. She wondered what move the Lincoln family’s benefactor would make now. She wasn’t afraid of them acting; she was afraid they wouldn't, leaving her with no leverage.

At noon, Larissa entered Haskell’s office carrying her medical case.

Haskell put down his tablet and turned it towards her. The screen clearly showed Helena being escorted into a police car.

He smiled. “The incident at Neverending Night—drugging over fifty guests and causing a mass orgy—was too severe. With all those customers filing a joint complaint, the police acted fast. They’ve already investigated the scene. Since none of the surveillance footage could prove an outsider was responsible, Helena confessed. According to legal experts, the impact is so serious she’s likely looking at a minimum of five years in prison.”

“I never thought that old witch would actually take the fall herself.” Larissa glanced at the screen and set her medical case on the desk, a cold smirk on her face. “I figured she was too attached to her own miserable life. But five years is too lenient. She ought to die in there.”
