Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 803

After a night of such chaos, Larissa wondered if Gale Entertainment would even bother trying to continue with “Soaring High”.

Personally, she hoped they would. After all, she hadn’t gotten the chance to release the dirt she had on its male lead, Fulbright. That was the real scumbag who had cheated on his wife and abandoned his family.

Just then, a video call from Haskell popped up on her screen.

Larissa answered instantly.

“All done with your work?” Haskell asked.

“Of course,” Larissa replied. “No matter how busy I am, a video call with you always comes first.”

Haskell chuckled. “The entertainment world has gotten a lot more exciting since you arrived. You should consider making your next book an autobiography.”

“Don’t tempt me, I’ve actually thought about it,” Larissa said. “And I’d start it on the day we first met.”

“So, I’d be the male lead in your story,” Haskell mused.

“Obviously. Who else could possibly be my leading man but you?”

“I look forward to your new book,” he said warmly.

“It’ll be out soon. I’m planning to finish it by next year.” Larissa’s books were never excessively long, usually around seven hundred thousand words. As long as she didn’t slack off, she could finish one in six months. And writing about herself meant she’d never get writer’s block.

“Larissa, you met with Tawny today, didn’t you?” Haskell asked, his tone shifting.

“I did.” Larissa gave him a brief rundown of their meeting.

After listening, Haskell said, “By using Tawny to reach out to you, he was likely testing whether you knew about him. Based on your actions tonight, he’s probably confirmed that you know he’s the one backing the Lincoln family.”

“Goodnight, Haskell.”

After ending the call, Larissa got up to feed Sage and the others, her mind replaying Haskell’s words.

What would Jedidiah do to her?

And was finding his political rivals really the only way to take him down?

The next morning, Larissa woke up. She had fallen asleep the night before while mulling over Haskell’s warning, and she still had no clear answers.

The methods her enemies had used against her were predictable enough—Honora hiring thugs to assault her, Finley trying to ruin her face, Paxton’s kidnapping and murder-for-hire plots. Lucius had escalated things with drugs and explosives.
