Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 809

After taking a nap at the Palmer Group building, Larissa was about to head back to Starlight Media when she got a call from Sapphira.

“Larissa, you need to come home right now. Lucius is here with his men, looking for Fergus.”

“On my way.”

Hanging up, Larissa couldn’t help but smile. Lucius’s timing was perfect. If she had been a moment slower in moving Fergus, she would have been caught red-handed. But she had calculated that Lucius’s injuries would keep him too preoccupied to worry about Fergus for a few days.

“Haskell, I’m heading home,” Larissa announced, slipping on her coat and scarf as she emerged from the side room.

Haskell looked up from his computer, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. “Home? Not back to Starlight Media?”

“Lucius brought his men to my house looking for Fergus. I have to go deal with it,” she explained, already at the door.

“Alright… By the way,” he said just before she left, “about introducing you to my friends. I spoke with them. We’re set for Saturday night at Paddy’s Home. How does that sound?”

Larissa’s eyes lit up. “Perfect. I’ll make sure to dress up so I don’t embarrass you in front of your friends. Bye, talk to you tonight.”

She slipped out, closing the door behind her.

Haskell gazed at the closed door with a soft smile. His friends all knew who Larissa was. They already knew what an incredible woman she was. She didn’t need to dress up for anyone.

“Are you sure you won’t open the gate? Fine. If you won’t resolve this privately, I’ll just have to call the police!” the Lincoln family’s butler threatened the guards at the Judson estate. He then pulled out his phone and dialed the emergency number. “Hello, I’m at the Judson family estate on Gem Road. Someone has been kidnapped and is being held here against their will. Please send officers immediately.”

Larissa giggled. “How am I going too far? I’m just showing concern for your master. Or did I hit a nerve? Was it an explosion?”

“You…”

Just as the butler was about to lose his temper, Lucius’s cold voice cut him off. “That’s enough. Larissa, I’m not here to trade insults with you.”

“Then what are you here for? To let me see what a pathetic state you’re in so I can laugh at you?” she retorted.

Ignoring her jab, Lucius’s voice turned grim and menacing. “Is my cousin, Fergus Lincoln, inside your estate?”

“Oh, you mean my cousin?” Larissa feigned innocence. “He did come here a few days ago looking for his mother, but he left earlier today. Hasn’t he returned to the Lincoln estate yet?” She clicked her tongue. “You know, when I found him, he was covered in injuries. If I hadn’t brought him back here to get him treated, he might have died on the side of the road.”
