Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 855

"Solomon, did you see the news about Judson Pharmaceuticals? It's absolutely delightful!" Faith Palmer exclaimed, rushing downstairs as soon as she woke up, eager to share the latest developments with her younger brother, who was sitting on the sofa.

Solomon smirked. "Of course, I did. Neville was taken away by the police."

His own eyes were glued to his phone screen, following the updates on the Judson Pharmaceuticals story.

Faith gloated, "Serves him right! Larissa really took a major fall this time! Look at what people are saying about her online—they're calling her a jinx, saying she's torn the Judson family apart since she came back!"

"She is a jinx," Solomon sneered. "Larissa's reputation is in tatters. Still, I'm curious to see how she'll handle all of this."

Faith scoffed dismissively. "How can she handle it? She's all talk and no substance. Without Haskell backing her, she's nothing!"

"My sources tell me Haskell didn't return to the Palmer estate at all last night," Solomon said. "He went to Judson Pharmaceuticals to be with Larissa."

Faith's expression shifted from surprise to mockery. "What? The Palmer family meeting is just around the corner, the one that will decide who becomes the next heir, and Haskell is wasting his time meddling in Judson Pharmaceuticals' business? What an idiot."

"Indeed," Solomon agreed. "Haskell has become increasingly foolish since he met Larissa. While he's preoccupied with her problems, I need to take advantage of the chaos and move forward with the next step of my plan."

Faith paused, then asked expectantly, "Solomon, what's your next step?"

Solomon didn't hide it from her. "Fraser Palmer forged a piece of evidence proving Grandpa tampered with Haskell's mother's car. I've been trying to figure out how to get Sire to 'discover' this evidence to speed up his plans."

Faith grew tense. "Solomon, this plan has to succeed."

If it did, she wouldn't be shipped off to some godforsaken place.

When Sapphira woke up from her nap and came downstairs, she was surprised to see Finley sitting on the sofa in the living room.

She walked over and sat on the opposite sofa. "I'm fine, really. But since you're here, you can stay and chat for a while."

Finley nodded. "Okay."

He cherished this day at the Judson estate. Whether Larissa forgave him or not, he had come to terms with it. His family had wronged her first. All he could do was try to make amends; forgiveness was her decision to make. All that mattered was Larissa's future happiness.

And if Neville and Sapphira were okay, Larissa would be happy.

"Have you had breakfast?"

"I have."

Sapphira nodded and told Wren to prepare an extra portion for Finley at lunch.
