Chapter 168

I raise my hands. “You too are grown. Either way, I’m going to pretend I don’t know shit for my own sanity. Though
it would be kinda cool for you to be my sister.”
Hazel tosses one of the towels at me, and I catch it with a laugh.
We all lay down and place the warm towels on our faces. A collective sigh fills the room.
“We should make this a weekly thing,” Quinnie says.
“I’d be down. But we would need to convince one of the warriors to let us go on a shopping trip to get more stuff.”
“I think I can make that happen,” Quinnie’s voice has a hint of mischievousness in it.
“Umm, I bet you could. The new warriors seem to be real sweet on you, precious little submissives,” Felix teases.
“Hey, I only use my powers for good,” Quinnie squeaks.
“Sure you do. At any rate, it sure is making a certain enforcer pretty irritable,” I say, thinking of Sebastian’s snarling
face every time one of the warriors would offer to help Quinnie with just about anything.
“I am so lost here,” Hazel says.
“Quinnie is the victim of a dominant male’s indecisiveness,” Felix says bitterly. “He’s an enforcer, Sebastian, and he’s
been playing the push and pull game for years.”
“Fuck,” Hazel says.
“Tell me about it. Watching it is enough to give me blue balls.”
“So he’s a cock blocker?” Hazel asks.
“Try a five–foot wall. Wide, not tall.” Quinnie complains.
“Ugh, that sucks,” Hazel grumbles.
“Tell me about it. I haven’t ridden anything across the finish line in months, and my wolf is getting seriously
bitchy.”

Chapter 168
Felix’s voice comes out exasperated.“I know. I’m tired of fucking my hand. It’s seriously pathetic I mean, look at me
I was made to be worshiped.”
“God, you too? Fuck it, just find someone else then,” Hazel says flippanly.
There is a brief moment of silence. No doubt Felix, Quinnie, and I are thinking of how well that will go over with
Sebastian. Hell, even Dex has been off for a while now. Honestly, it’s more likely to cause a fight, which could roll
over into one between Kade and Sebsation on sheer principle.
And if Dex hurts Felix again, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop Liam from taking it into his own hands.
But….
“You know,” I sit up and remove the towel from my face, wiping the mask residue from my face. “Hazel has a point.
Why should you have to suffer just because he wants you, but doesn’t want to do anything about it? It is not far for
him to warn guys off and not do anything at the same time.”
The three of them sit up and start removing their own towels.
“Aria is right. We can’t let them keep getting away with their shit,” Felix says, looking in between us like the cat
who got the canary. “We could even help each other.”
“I sense a plan coming on,” I say wickedly.
Frankly, I’m so down to ruffle a little fur if it means supporting my friends.
My wolf agrees with me.
“I’m in,” Hazel says.
As we speak about various ways to bring Dex and Sebastian to their knees, I wonder if Barric ever thought this is
what relaxing would look like for me.
“You smell good,” Ronan says, pulling me into his arms as soon as I walk through our bedroom door.
His scent, like smoke and firewood, wraps around me, and my wolf gets close to my skin, wanting to run against it. I
straddle his lap, wanting the same closeness. Ronan wraps his arms around me, a contented rumble escaping him.

Chapter 168
“Where is everyone?”

Strong fingers pull at the tie of my ponytail, releasing my hair, then delve into the strands messaging my scalp.
“Barric is checking more of the cleared rooms, and Kade is helping store some of the game the males caught today
“Hmm. And how are you doing?” I ask, wrapping my arms around his neck.
The question looks like it catches him off guard. “I’m good.”
