arguing with her,” Hazel complains.

“Well, you have to admit it works. That’s the only reason she keeps doing it,” Quinnie says, stuffing a cheese square inher

mouth.

“You’re not allowed to have an opinion, until you give birth to an entire football team I don’t want to hear anything you

have to say,” Hazel tosses a chip at her. “They’re eating from the inside, I know it.”

“Don’t speak like that about my nieces or nephews,” I say, rubbing her humongous belly. “There are little angles.”

“Still,” Quinnie adds, “Liam could have held back a little. Quadruplets are a little much. I mean the twins are only two.”

The back door to my house slams open and little feet scurry on inside followed by a heavier set of boot steps.

My son leads the pack, followed by Hazel’s twins.

“Look, I’m fast, Lowden,” says as he zooms past us and heads upstairs.

Behind them is Quinnie soon holding Kiara’s daughter’s hand and leading her along with the other children.

“Be careful with the baby, Quinnie warns.

“I will mama,” Jace says.

He is such a sweet boy.

“They’re coming in here to play hide and seek,” Felix says. “The men folk are still arguing over who gets to man the grill

and Dex and Bash are wrestling with the e bouncy house.”

“Figures,”I say half heartedly.

The night shade pack has created a formal hond with our pack, making them brother packs, something which Hanes and

Ransom felt tremendous relief over.

Even Elliot has become a consistent visitor to our house.

Dex finally got over his issues and confessed hours feelings for Felix and Kiara surprised us all by mating the scared warrior from the nightshade pack, Sigrid.

“Alright girl, let’s go get you comfortable in the shade before we wrangle the daredevils,” I say, helping Hazel up.

“Just roll me there, it will be faster,” she whines.

Quinnie follows behind shouldering the small plates and going to put them on the buffet style tables we have sitting on

the side.

The moment we get outside Liam is there guiding Hazel to a seat like he’s ready to catch her at any moment.

Dex and Sebastian finally look like they’ve gotten a handle on the bouncy house and the table is almost perfect with the

food spread. All we are missing is the meat.

I head over to the grill where my mates are arguing over steaks.

“I’m telling you anything over medium rare is for degerenttes.” Ronan says.

I don’t yuck your yum,” Theo argues.

“And here I thought I was mated to grown males,” I tease.

“We have to keep you on your toes otherwise life will get dull,” Kade says.

I don’t know about that,” I say running stomach pointedly “I think life is going to get a little more interesting.”

Mates stop staring at me with varying degrees of joy.

“We’re going to have another child?” Barric asks.

I nod, “Just got it confirmed this morning.”

Theo is the first to reach, picking me up and going in for a soft slow kiss. Romans kiss is harder, and Kade slows with a

sensual tease. Finally Barric takes my face in his hand and kisses to reverently my toes curl.
