Last Female Sipher and Her Brother’s Friends
Chapter 84
I know he wants nie. All of my mates do. And ! want them. Or at least physically I do.
But isn’t that wrong? Just to use them for the physical when my mind and heart aren’t fult on the same page about what
they think this is.
A mating.
A forever love type thing.
My wolf wants to say hell yes, but part of me is still searching for a way to make all of this easily explainable. I need
something concrete to hold onto.
Not some idealistic, mythical bond or predestined mate.
Not another fantasy meant to make me believe everything will suddenly be okay.
But can I ignore the mind–numbing desire every time I’m in their vicinity
Or the fact that when I look at them, I’m seeing people who belong to me.
His jaw tightens slightly, like he’s holding something back, then it loosens, and his eyes take on that immovable
determination.
“I know this may feel too soon, but I want to make our mating official; we all do,” he says quietly.
My wolf is fully on board with Ronan. I play with the idea for a moment before blurting out, “But we don’t love each
other.”
He shrugs a powerful shoulder. “Most couples don’t know each other before they bond. Love usually grows afterward.”
The words hit something deep in my chest.
Because I do know.
Even if I don’t fully understand it.
Even if it terrifies me.
“It’s not that simple,” I say. “What if we bond and love never comes? Do we just stay together because fate says so?”
“That thinking is irrelevant. The mating bond isn’t the shifter equivalent of dating; it’s finding your soul mate, the person

es complètes and balatices you, su in our situation, everyone will provide something the other needs. Love will happen,
-ika matter of when, not if.”
“How can you be so certain?” I ask.
“Because I am.”
My wolf growls softly. He’s right.
I ignore her, my gaze dropping for a split second before I force it back up. “If I say yes, how does this work?”
His expression darkens–not with anger, but with something heavier.
Possession.
“We will each give you a claiming bite, and you will give us one in return,” he says.
My heart pounds harder.
“Will it hurt?”
“You won’t mind the pain when I’m deep inside you. When we’re inside you.”
A shiver runs through me at the way he says it.
“I won’t lie to you, and I won’t force your hand. If you choose not to go through with it, we’ll respect your decision, but
our wolves will get more territorial, more protective because of how close you are to danger and unattached males,” he
continues, his voice low. “We will deal with it, but you will have to be patient with us.” And if you choose to bond, the wolf
will start to feel more settled with each other, and we can develop our emotional relationship through its natural course
Heat flares in my chest, sharp and undeniable.
I open my mouth to argue.
Nothing comes out.
Because the truth is written all over me.
My wolf lifts her head, unashamed. Yes.
Ronan’s gaze softens–just slightly–but it only makes the intensity worse.
“Yes or no,” he murmurs. “I need the words.”

yire tallers. 163.”
The word hangs between us.
Dangerous.
Final.
My pulse roars in my ears.
Something in his expression shifts–satisfaction, relief, something deeper.
“Good,” he says as he prowls toward me.
His smooth, sure movements make me aware of the predator in front of me.
His hand lifts, slow enough that I could pull away.
I don’t.
