Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 1030

The thought of Felix trying to take Stella from him made Evan want to tear the man apart.

“This isn’t the time to make threats,” Amos said. “Besides, he won’t be able to get into Seaborne.”

“What about your sister? What are you planning to do about her? Send Remi and Seymour to sneak her out too?”

Yara Wright had become the subject of endless gossip in Eirden lately.

A modern-day Cinderella was about to become Mrs. Hogarth.

Aaron Hogarth was the kind of man countless women dreamed of marrying.

Naturally, some people envied Yara.

Others were consumed by jealousy.

The envy was harmless enough.

But there was no telling what the jealous ones might do.

Being involved with a man like Aaron was not always a blessing.

Evan’s expression darkened.

When Stella had still been in Eirden, she had technically remained part of the Hogarth family.

At the time, Evan had thought the best solution would be for Stella to help Yara escape.

But Stella had refused to become involved.

Now Yara and Aaron’s wedding was approaching.

There was no doubt Aaron would have her heavily guarded.

Especially after Stella had already been smuggled out of Hogarth Castle once.

“Who knows what Aaron is plotting this time?” Amos muttered.

As far as he was concerned, Aaron never did anything without an ulterior motive.

Every decision he made served some purpose.

If Yara truly loved him and was looking forward to the wedding, she was bound to be disappointed eventually.

Evan’s face darkened further at the word plotting.

“If he hurts Yara, I’ll go to war with him.”

Evan had always cared deeply for this particular sister.

She was different from Fiona.

Yara had remained close to Stella over the years.

“No matter what happens, Yara cannot marry Aaron Hogarth.”

The man was insane.

Anyone willing to use his own sister as a bargaining chip could not possibly be a suitable husband.

Who knew what he might trade away next?

Perhaps one day he would even hand over his own wife to obtain something he wanted.

Aaron already stood at the top.

Evan could not imagine what he still lacked badly enough to make such a trade.

Unless whatever he wanted had been so tempting that it had driven him to abandon all reason.

Whatever Aaron’s excuse was, Evan would never allow Yara to marry a man like him.

And he would never allow Stella to return to Eirden either.

“All right,” Amos agreed.

Yara was his friend’s sister.

He could not simply stand by and watch her walk straight into a disaster.
