Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 314

Chapter 314

The moment Dora gave in, Summer pressed further.

“Then who bought the blue diamond?”

That question instantly darkened both Dora and Fiona’s expressions.

Fiona snapped, “Who else? Stella.”

The moment she said it-

Summer’s face fell.

“How could she? Where would she get that kind of money…?”

That blue diamond was worth a fortune.

“Who do you think?” Fiona scoffed. “Felix. That shameless little-”

“Enough!” Dora cut her off sharply.

Bringing up Stella spending Felix’s money only made Evan look weak.

And that was not something they could afford to talk about.

That damned Stella.

She hadn’t just spent Felix’s money-

She had done it right in front of Evan.

“Not just the blue diamond,” Fiona added bitterly. “She got the pink one too.”

Thinking about it made her even angrier.

She had been hoping that while her mother picked out a reward for Summer, she could get something small

for herself too.

In the end?

Everything they wanted had slipped through their fingers.

Summer’s expression darkened further.

Damn it.

r

She had had her eye on that blue diamond for a long time, dropping hints to Dora again and again.

That was why Dora had gone to bid for it today.

And yet –

It had been snatched away by Stella.

Why was that woman always getting in her way?

Back at Mount Pansworth-

Gray had already brought all the auction items up to Stella’s room.

Jennifer showed up as soon as she got off work, as usual.

The moment she stepped inside and saw everything laid out, her eyes widened.

“This auction had some seriously good pieces.”

Usually, only the final item was the highlight.

But today?

Everything had been top-tier.

“I heard Dora was planning to buy that blue diamond as a reward for Summer’s twins,” Jennifer added.

“And now it’s all here with you.”

“Yeah,” Stella said lightly. “They opened with the blue diamond. Normally something like that would be saved for the finale.”

“So the scale of this auction was definitely high,” Jennifer said, then grinned. “But you went head-to-head with the Wright family in public. Honestly, it fits. Didn’t Summer always accuse you of stealing her things? Well, now you actually did.”

This time-

It wasn’t subtle anymore.

Stella let out a quiet laugh. “Back then, anything the Wright family got, she would take. If Evan ever gave something to me, she’d act like I had stolen it from her.

“And the moment she made that face, Dora would take it right back and give it to her. At the end of the day, it just passed through my hands.”

Even when Evan knew, he never said a word.

Over the years, however many things Evan had given her-

That was how many had simply passed through her hands.

r

Back then, small things didn’t matter.

But now?

These weren’t things that could just “pass through” anymore.

“See?” Jennifer said. “This is why you need power of your own. A strong backing. What’s a man worth? Especially someone like Evan.”

She didn’t believe for a second that Evan had been completely unaware of how Stella had been treated in that household.
