Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 399

Chapter 399

Dora’s face darkened. “What does that mean?”

“Stella’s people said this is the Wright family’s private road, so outside cars aren’t allowed in.”

Dora fell silent.

Hearing that made her expression turn even darker.

“What outside car? Summer is a daughter-in-law of the Wright family. Are you telling me her family’s car can’t come in?”

Mrs. Mendes said, “I told them that, but the people blocking the car wouldn’t allow it.”

The words “wouldn’t allow it” instantly made Dora, Fiona, and Summer understand.

This was another one of Stella’s tricks.

She was doing this on purpose.

She was determined not to let the Wright family have a single peaceful day. Even with tiny things like this, she still had to torment them.

Thinking of how far she had walked back yesterday, Summer felt as if her legs still hurt.

Fiona and Dora were even worse.

They had lived in comfort for years as members of the Wright family. When had they ever suffered like this?

Now that they heard the car was stopped outside, Dora forced down her anger and gritted her teeth.

“It’s fine. Tell the driver to wait outside. Fiona and I will walk out.”

Fiona froze.

The moment she heard that, her face darkened.

After walking back yesterday, her legs still hurt. And now she had to walk out again?

Was this woman trying to take half her life?

Fiona’s breath caught. “Mom, I…”

Before she could finish, Dora cut her off. “As long as Felix finds out that Stella has a man from Eirden waiting for her, our suffering will be over.”

Hearing that, Fiona instantly regained her energy.

Even her legs did not seem to hurt as much anymore.

She nodded. “Okay. We’ll walk out.”

That little distance was nothing.

If Felix never found out Stella’s true colors, who knew how long they would have to keep suffering?

But unce Felix knew the truth, everything would change.

Fiona could hardly wait to see Stella’s miserable ending.

“Then let’s go.”

“Mm.”

Dora and Fiona left the room together.

The two of them were full of anger, looking as if they were about to drag Stella down for good.

Once only Summer and Mrs. Mendes were left in the room, Summer looked at Mrs. Mendes.

“It’s finally going to end.”

Mrs. Mendes nodded. “She brought this on herself. We just have to wait and watch what happens to her.”

Summer had reached her limit with Stella too.

She had not eaten anything since morning.

And Dora had poisoned the food this morning.

Thinking of what Dora had done made Summer angry.

Seeing Summer’s expression darken again, Mrs. Mendes knew she must be hungry.

She sighed. “The food I brought in was taken away by her people at the door.”

“What right did she have to take it?”

Summer was furious.

She was truly starving.

Her body was already weak after giving birth, and she had not had a proper meal for days.

Especially after what she had eaten last night…

Just thinking about it made her nauseated.

Mrs. Mendes said, “They said they were worried it might contain poison.”

Her tone was full of dissatisfaction.

“Poison? It would be a miracle if she didn’t poison us. Who would dare poison her? Does she not see how many people she brought with her?”

Taking all the food away was clearly just another way to torment them.

And she had the nerve to say she was worried they might bring in poisoned food.

What a joke.

With that many people around her, she probably even had someone checking for poison. And she was still worried they would poison her?
