Chapter 463

Which left her unable to rest properly at night or during the day.

Now, things were finally better.

With Gray and his people here, no one could even think about disturbing her.

Gray handed Stella a glass of warm water. “I just took a call.”

Hearing him mention the call again, Stella raised a brow. “What kind of call?”

“One of our men called. When Summer went out earlier, she got into a stranger’s car. It just so happened that Mr. Wright’s car was coming back at the same time, and Mr. Wright followed them.”

“A stranger?”

“It was Frank Holland.”

The bodyguards at the intersection had not known who he was, but once the surveillance footage was pulled up, Gray recognized him.

When Stella heard that Summer had gotten into Frank’s car and had been seen by Evan, a faint smile

curved her lips.

Before she could speak, Gray continued, “Right now, both sides are outside a fast-food restaurant. Summer doesn’t dare get out of the car, and Frank doesn’t dare come out of the restaurant.”

“What about Evan?” Stella asked.

There was a hint of amusement in her voice now.

At first, she had thought that putting Mrs. Mendes and Summer together would force them into desperate conversations under pressure.

She had expected Summer’s past crimes to be the first thing to show cracks.

Unexpectedly, it was Summer’s relationship with Frank that Evan discovered first.

Gray said, “He’s been sitting in the car the whole time. He hasn’t gotten out either. Right now, both sides are just stuck there.”

Summer would not get out.

Evan would not get out either.

But that kind of surface calm was exactly what made it even more frightening.

The smile at Stella’s lips deepened. “Then tonight is going to be very interesting.”

When Steven had still been alive, he and Frank had always been at odds.

Whenever the Wright family mentioned Frank, how had they described him again?

A cockroach.

A cockroach that existed solely to go against the Wright family.

Every time the Wrights spoke of that man, it was as if they were discussing a mortal enemy.

That was enough to show just how much the Wright family hated Frank.

And now, Evan had personally seen Summer get into Frank’s car.

Stella looked at Gray with a smile. “What do you think? How will Summer get herself out of this one tonight?”

Ever since Stella married Evan, she had known that the Wright family’s hatred for Frank came from deep

in their bones.

And now, Evan had seen Summer get into Frank’s car with his own eyes.

That was practically Summer trampling all over the Wright family’s greatest taboo.

Summer was so good at playing innocent.

Stella truly wanted to see how Summer planned to talk her way out of this in front of Evan tonight.

Gray said, “It’s hard to say. At this point, Mr. Wright is probably so angry that he’s lost all reason.”

Frank Holland.
