Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 473

Chapter 473

Jennifer had always loved gossip.

She knew Evan and Frank had never gotten along.

But not getting along was one thing. Beating someone half to death out of nowhere was still rare.

So Jennifer had been curious about why Evan had almost beaten Frank to death.

And then, sure enough…

About an hour later, Summer actually got out of Frank’s car.

After Steven’s death, Summer had always played the role of the devoted widow in the Wright family’s old

mansion.

She had even called Evan by Steven’s name again and again, using it as proof of how deeply she loved

Steven.

And yet this same woman, the one everyone in the Wright family believed was so devoted, had gotten out of Frank’s car less than a year after Steven’s death.

Frank, Steven’s sworn enemy while he was still alive.

Stella said, “What else could it be? Summer and Frank clearly have something going on.”

“That was Steven’s enemy!” Jennifer said, shocked.

“Exactly. Isn’t it exciting?”

“Exciting? This is beyond exciting! Now that things have gotten this far, Evan can’t possibly keep believing Summer, right?”

He had seen Summer get out of Frank’s car with his own eyes. What else was there to say?

If Evan could still believe Summer after this, then Jennifer truly would not know what to say about him.

At that point, all she could say was that his brain had been kicked loose by a donkey.

Stella said, “Whether he’ll keep believing her is hard to say.”

Jennifer fell silent.

On the other end of the call, her breathing seemed to freeze for a moment.

Then she said, “True. With Evan’s brain, he’ll probably believe Summer no matter what.”

“Who knows? He might even say you forced her.”

After thinking about it, Jennifer added that last sentence.

Hearing it, Stella fell silent too.

Actually…

Jennifer was not wrong.

With Summer’s talent for playing the victim, she really could say something like that.

And with Evan’s brain, as long as Summer said it, he would probably believe her.

“It doesn’t matter,” Stella said. “If she wants to dump the blame on me, let her.”

Her tone was indifferent.

As if she had long since grown used to Evan treating her this way.

A marriage in which distrust had become this familiar. That alone showed how much of a failure their marriage had been.

Jennifer said, “If she tries to dump the blame on you now, she’s just asking for trouble.”

The entire Wright family’s old mansion was currently under Stella’s control.

If Summer still dared to slander Stella the way she had before, then she really did not want a peaceful life

anymore.

Stella chatted with Jennifer for a little longer before hanging up.

Then she got up, washed up, and went downstairs.

As soon as she reached the staircase, she heard shouting from below.

It was Dora.

Summer and Evan had returned too.

Stella stood on the stairs and looked down at the chaos below.

Dora pointed straight at Summer’s nose and started cursing.

“You bitch. How do you still have the nerve to come back?

“Tell me. Was Steven’s death caused by you and Frank?”

Dora had been restless all night. She had not slept at all.

Now that Summer had actually returned with Evan, the anger in Dora’s chest erupted completely.

Summer sat on the couch, tears falling one after another.

She was clearly the one who had done something shameful, yet now she looked like the most wronged person in the room.
