Chapter 529
“Gotten what she deserves?”
Fiona said, “Evan will definitely investigate her and Frank. After that, he definitely won’t let Frank off either. Once Frank’s life falls apart, do you really think he’ll still treat her well?”
The person someone had always believed loved them most suddenly turning against them, that was the
real torment.
Dora said, “You’re right. She’s caught in the middle now, despised on all sides. She has no one left to rely
on.”
“Her own mother probably finds her disgusting too.”
At the thought of Ruby Bailey, Dora’s expression darkened.
Ruby was not a good person, but she had always cared deeply about appearances.
She had used all kinds of shady methods to get to where she was today, but she had always made sure Summer never made a single mistake.
So after Summer married into the Wright family, Summer had become something Ruby could show off.
Now that Ruby knew Summer had still been involved with Frank while living as a Wright, she was probably furious too.
Fiona said, “Exactly. Maybe even her own mother can’t stand her now. That means Summer’s life is the most miserable of all.”
In truth, none of the three of them had it easy.
But seeing Summer suffer even more gave them a small measure of comfort.
Not long after Evan left, Old Mrs. Wright called again.
Furious, Evan turned around and returned to the old estate.
“Let Grandma go back to the care facility!”
Stella had just opened a book.
Hearing Evan’s words, the corner of her mouth lifted into a faint smile.
“Are you giving me orders now?”
Evan fell silent.
At her words, his heart sank.

Orders?
“Who in the entire Wright family can order you around now? Who would even dare?”
No one.
The entire Wright family was under her control now.
No one could do anything to her.
Stella said lightly, “Good that you know.”
Her casual reply made Evan’s expression darken again.
Stella said, “Letting her return to the care facility is impossible unless you sign the divorce agreement.
So this was what it felt like when their positions were reversed.
Evan said, “You’ve turned her room into a study. If she comes back, where is she supposed to stay? The
servants’ quarters?”
The last sentence came out as a roar.
He knew that Fiona, Dora, and Summer had all been moved to the basement.
Any place that was warm, they were not allowed to linger in.
Stella was truly ruthless.
Her methods seemed childish on the surface, yet they made people suffer as if they had been thrown
into hell.
Stella said, “She doesn’t have to come back.”
If Old Mrs. Wright did return, then Stella would arrange her however she saw fit.
In any case, she would not enjoy the same treatment as before.
“If she doesn’t come back, where can she go? She can’t spend her money anywhere How did I never realize before that you were this capable?”
None of the Wright family members could spend their money.
Even Evan had never thought of a method like this before.
Over the years, plenty of people had suffered under the Wright family’s suppression
But none of them had been as ruthless as Stella.
She was truly too ruthless now.
Stella said, “My capabilities aren’t what you should be worrying about right now. What matters is whether

you’re signing or not.”
No matter what Evan said, Stella only had one answer.
The divorce agreement.
