Chapter 724

Five minutes later, Summer’s hysterical screams rang out from outside.

“Stella, you’ve gone too far! How can you treat me like this?”

“Ah! Let go of me! All of you, let go! What right do you have to treat me like this? Let go!”

She struggled desperately, refusing to be forced out of the estate.

She did not have a cent to her name.

The Bailey family no longer had any property in Harbor City.

Frank would not help her.

Where was she supposed to go?

When Stella had told the man from Eirden to “help her out,” Summer had thought Stella truly meant she wa going to help.

She had foolishly believed Stella might actually pity her.

She had even thanked her.

But was this helping her?

Stella was having people throw her out.

She was truly heartless.

“You won! You got everything you wanted! Why are you still doing this to me?”

“You already won! You already won!”

In this fight, Summer had never thought much of Stella before.

But now she finally understood.

She had lost.

Completely.

She had lost to the woman she had always looked down on most.

Summer’s voice eventually faded away.

Stella set down her fruit tea.

A housekeeper stepped forward “Ms Rowan, Mr. Hernandez had chicken soup prepaced for you. Have a bowl while it’s hot. It’s very nourishing”

Stella said nothing

The moment she heard it was another one of those nourishing meals, her face tell.

“I’ve already gained so much weight. Do I really have to keep eating?”

She had once been told that she was in poor health

But now that she had regained her strength, why did she still have to eat so much?

“You haven’t gained weight. You’re doing better, but you still need to keep nourishing your body and maintain your health.”

The housekeeper coaxed.

Stella pouted. “Fine.”

So many nourishing foods had gone into her stomach lately that she could clearly feel how much better her bo had become.

It was not as if she had lacked good food before.

But back then, no one had truly cared for her.

Even when she tried to take care of herself, she did it inconsistently.

Now she had her brother’s people around her, and Felix’s people too.

They watched her meals closely. If she did not eat well at one meal, Felix would find some way to make it up to later.

At this rate, she truly was worried she would gain too much weight.

She had only finished one bowl when Felix came in from outside.

He looked exhausted and travel-worn, and his expression was grim.

Stella said nothing.

Seeing his face, she could tell something had gone wrong with Evan.

Sure enough, Felix sat beside her and said, “Evan left Westbridge as soon as he got there.”

Stella’s brows jumped. “Where did he go?”

Felix said, “Jack still hasn’t found out where exactly he went, but we know for certain that he’s no longer in Westbridge.”

Stella said nothing

Hearing Evan was no longer in Westbridge, Stella suddenly lost all interest in the soup.
