“Understood,” Jack said.

“Was Miss Rowan this upset because Summer contacted her after moving into Crown Bay?” Jack asked.

Summer had always been used to having the upper hand over Stella.
After Stella had pushed her down so thoroughly, Summer had finally found a chance to breathe again.
Of course she would use it to provoke Stella.
And if that was what happened, no one could have tolerated it.
Stella certainly could not.
That was why her reaction to Felix helping Summer had been so fierce.
Felix rubbed at his aching temple.
“Call Summer. Tell her that if she wants to stay safe, she needs to stop provoking Stella.”
“Got it.”
Jack nodded.
But he was already too late.
Summer had not understood why Felix had suddenly stepped in to help her before.
Now, somehow, she had learned the reason.
She called Stella at once.
Back at the castle, Stella answered.
“I bet you never saw this coming,” Summer said smugly “Looks like tate is on av side after all
