Chapter 895
Evan gave Seymour a firm order.
No matter what it took, he had to bring Stella to the Black Sea.
He could not allow Felix’s men to take her away.
“I’ll have to wait until tomorrow, after Mr. Hernandez’s people get her out of the castle,” Seymour said.
He worked for Evan.
Being allowed to remain on the Hogarth estate at all was already pushing the limit.
Taking Stella directly out of the castle would not be easy, especially when she had no intention of cooperating.
“Just don’t let Felix’s people get away with her.”
Evan was now certain Felix intended to use Stella.
He did not trust him.
“Don’t worry. The moment she leaves the castle, I’ll take her to the Black Sea.”
“Good.”
“After what happens tomorrow, Mrs. Wright will probably lose whatever faith she has left in the Hogarth family.”
Evan had been about to end the call.
At Seymour’s words, his hand tightened around the phone.
“What do you mean?”
“If Mr. Hernandez’s people come for her tomorrow, I don’t think anyone here will stop them.”
If Felix’s men took Stella away and no one at the castle intervened, how could she not be disappointed in the entire Hogarth family?
Evan fell silent.
He took a hard drag from his cigarette.
“You’re saying the Hogarths are going to let Felix take her?”
“Most likely.”
“Damn that family.”
Evan no longer knew what to say about Aaron.
Stella was his biological sister.
No matter how much he trusted Felix, he should never treat her this way.
The matter with Summer had already left a wound in Stella’s heart.
And now Aaron intended to cut her again?
“Fine. The moment she leaves the Hogarth estate tomorrow, take her back.”
“Understood.”

After ending the call, Evan lit another cigarette.
When Amos entered, he found Evan looking thoroughly agitated.
“Everything’s ready for the Black Sea. What are you worked up about now?”
Amos had grown especially wary whenever Evan looked like this.
Every time Evan became anxious, there was a chance he would suddenly decide to run off to Eirden.
And right now, he absolutely could not leave.
“Felix plans to take her to the Black Sea.”
“What? What the hell is Felix trying to do?”
Taking Stella to the Black Sea at a time like this could not possibly mean anything good.
“Who knows?”
Even when they had still been friends, Evan had found Felix impossible to read.
Now that they had completely turned against each other, understanding his intentions was even more difficult.
“Felix must blame Stella for Summer’s death,” Amos said. “That’s good, isn’t it? The bigger their fight, the better.”
Stella had once had feelings for Felix.
Evan had always hated that.
“Do you really think it matters whether they fight now?”
