Daisy

His… daughter?

I couldn’t help it, my head snapped around to his. I knew he had been married before birt he had never once mentioned a child Not that if we have tes a problem for me, I loved kids.

My eyes darted down to the picture.

Except that wasn’t a child. It was a young woman and not much younger than I was.

I swallowed hard.

“Raven?” My voice shook.

He didn’t look at me, his eyes didn’t even dart in my direction. He just continued to stare at the picture, his face as white as a sheet of paper like he had

seen a ghost.

“You think so as well don’t you?” Gunner said softly. And like everyone else he was watching Raven carefully.

Slowly, Raven shook himself. “Looks that way.” There was a note of disbelief in his voice that he was trying to hide. But his fingers brushed wer the picture almost absently. “Either that or my wife has had so much work done that she looks exactly the same as she did twenty years ago.”

Wife!

My eyebrows slammed down. Had he seriously just called her his wife? I’d thought they were divorced? But the way he had just said that mixed with the way he was looking at the picture and I was starting to think he might still have feelings.

“Ex wife.” Reaching for my hand, he stroked his thumb across the back of it. Giving me comfort. But at the same time asking me for some

That’s when it hit me. Raven didn’t look like that because he still had lingering feelings for his ex. He was trying to hide his shock and if I wasn’t mistajee

horror and that meant-

He hadn’t known until this moment that he was a dad.

Holy fuck.

I brought the back of his hand to my lips and kissed the back of it. His eyes darted to me and his half smile seemed to scream thank you.

“What do we know about her?” Shaking himself the misery seemed to vanish from his eyes and he was suddenly all business

He was no longer Raven, the man who had made love to me so sweetly. He was Raven, president of the Lost Reapers.

Cold, calculating. The kind of man who got things done.

It was completely hot.

“Gunner?”

Chapter 109

The younger man’s head shot up “Not much.”

I frowned. The way he said it, it was like he was lying. But why would he lie about this?

“I can’t find out any information about her without knowing” Gunner paused. “About your past.” His eyes darted to me like he was scared I was going to

have some kind of tantrum.

I rolled my eyes, yeah I was young but I wasn’t that immature. Or maybe I was seeing as had just rolled my eyes. But I wasn’t going to kick off because

Raven had a past.

Even if that past was around my age.

Raven was a dad. That was crazy.

“Ok.”

Ravens voice broke me out of the spell of my thoughts. “I need to speak to Daisy real quick and then we are having church.” His eyes swept the room. “Everyone is there, no excuses. The women.” He squeezed my hand. Almost to show that I was his. “Need to take the kids to the basement because this is going to get ugly.”

It was already ugly but none of the men said anything, so they all agreed with him.

“Do we have a plan?” Irish asked.

“Yeah.” Raven said gruffly. “We hit all of his properties hard and fast. All of them and we get those girls out.” His eyes darted down to the picture.

“Get your daughter out.” Someone muttered but Raven didn’t even look in their direction.

“Get them all out.” He said more firmly. “I’ll deal with the possibility that she’s my daughter when Josh is dead.” He shot a look in my direction. “Sorry baby but that’s the only way I am going to be able to-”

Not giving him a chance to finish I reached up on my tiptoes and pressed my lips to his lips, silencing him.

“I know.” I said, settling myself back onto my feet.

He smiled, his hands coming down to cup my cheek. It was indulgent. The kind of touch that was meant for when we were alone and not in front of at least a dozen hardened bikers.

Not that Raven seemed to care.

“Baby can you go downstairs and help with the children?” He mumbled against my mouth.

“Of course but-” I glanced at the pictures spread out over the table. Each one of those girls was a victim. Just like I was. I wanted to help them. “I can be more productive helping you.”

I knew i could. If they were going to hit every aspect of my brothers operation they would need to know everything I knew. Down to the tiniest detail.

“The biggest help you can be right now is to go down stairs with the old ladies and kids.”

Before I could say a word Xander stepped forward, a phone in his outstretched and a grim look on his face.
