Chapter 35

They didn’t get it, and honestly I couldn’t really blame them. I’d spent years… YEARS telling everyone that would listen how much I hated her. So it wasn’t surprising that they thought I was crazy for giving her another chance.
Hell I thought I was crazy as well but the heart wanted what it wanted and Lottie had always been the one I wanted. There was no denying that, especially not that both me and Xander were on the same page. Finally we wanted the same girl. Not to fuck and discard but to keep, to protect.
To love.

Lottie.
My feet crunched on the gravel as I launched myself towards the property. Not going the long way around. I went through the trees, vaulting myself over the
boundary fence and across the dense trees that surrounded her house.
And even before I could get a clear glimpse of the house I knew something was wrong. Lights blared from the windows. All the windows. The damn place
was lit up like a fireworks display.
“Lottie.” I crashed out of the trees and for a split second I froze. It looked like the whole place was lit up, because it was. Every light was on and every
window was open.

Chapter 35
My eyes bugged out of my face. Every single picture was of Lottie. Spread out over our loungers. Her gorgeous body was on full display as we pleasured her.
They were pictures of today.
Someone had been watching us. More specifically watching her.
“Lot-” my voice died as I saw her. She was right in front of me. I just hadn’t seen her because she had curled herself up as sina!! as possible and pressed herself into a corner.
“Lottie.” Crouching down, I gathered her into my arms. Her wet face crashed into my tee. Soaking it with her tears. “It’s ok babe. I’ve got you.”
I did have her, and I wasn’t about to let anything happen to her either. Swinging her up into my arms I moved her away from the sight.
But after that I didn’t have a clue what to do. I couldn’t take her back to Xanders. Not with Raven and the rest of the boys there.
Unless
Sitting on the wooden steps, I pulled her in even closer and yanked my cellphone out. Shooting off a quick text to the entire club.
They were family and family helped family.
“Are you ok?” I asked dropping my phone to the side, where it clattered down the steps.
She nodded. Her cheek rubbing against my shirt.
“Ok I know you’re lying. But you’re going to be ok. I promise. I’m just going to go in and make sure no one is in there ok?”
Again she didn’t say anything but this time her fingers made little claws in my shirt. I tightened my arms around her. “Ok I’m not going anywhere. I
promise Lottie. I won’t leave you alone for a second.”
It was a promise I planned on keeping but someone was clearly out to get her. I Earlier might have been a coincidence now there was no doubt in my mind.
Someone was stalking her.
And it wasn’t me..
“What’s going on?” Xander appeared. Took one look at us and bounded up the steps. He was back a few seconds later.
Slace.
“Get her home.” He barked and I didn’t need to know whose home he was talking about. He wanted me to take her back to our place. Somewhere safe.
“I don’t want to-” Lottie struggled to get out of my lap. Pushing at my shoulders until I had no choice but to let go of her reluctantly. With an exasperated sigh I climbed to my feet after her.
“This is my home.” She stood on the second step with her hands on her hips and scowled. It was like now the initial shock had worn off, she wasn’t scared and sad, she was furious.
And it was hot to see.
“I’m not letting anyone or anything push me out of it.”
Xander opened his mouth to speak but it was a darker voice that spoke first.
