Lottie
“Hey.”
The hand coming down on my shoulder, made me jump around in shock. Ripping the ear buds from my ears I sucked in a started breath and stared at-
A leather cut. Which was directly at my eye level because whoever was standing in front of me was so tall I barely came up to his nipples.
It took me another second for me to realise who was in front of me and the moment I did. My heartbeat picked up for another reason.
Shitmpursing my lips I blew out the breath I’d been holding. “Xander.” Tilting my face up to meet his so far above me, I squinted against the sun. “You scared me.”
That was an understatement, he hadn’t just frightened me. I’d almost pissed my pants.
“Sorry boo.” He cracked a smile. “I thought you would have heard me pull up.” Reaching down he tugged the other headphone from my ear and placed it against his.
His smile quickly went from dazzling to confused. “Guess you were having a little party of your own. Although- your music choice.” He shook his head.
I snatched it back from him. “Theres nothing wrong with my music choice Xander.” I retorted tartly. “So what brings you here?”
“Can’t I just be neighbourly and come and say hello?” he asked with a mock innocence that I wasn’t buying.
The voice might have been all charm but the look he was giving me was heated. Dark, gold flecked eyes moved down my body. Lingering on all the places that caught his attention.
Namely my tits and my hips.
His pink tongue swiped against his full pink lips.
For a second I stared at him. And then cocked out my hip because I knew he wouldn’t be able to resist staring. I grinned up at him. “Or maybe you just can’t stay away.” I teased.
There was a moment where he looked shocked and then in a blink of an eye he hid it with another cheeky grin. “Or maybe I just couldn’t stay away, what have you done to me Boo?”
“Nothing – yet.” Bending down I picked up the small gardening fork I’d been digging over the flower beds with. It gave him just enough time to check out my ass. Which I knew he did because I caught him when I straightened.
“Yet?” Xander swallowed hard, his eyes darting from my ass to my face. “Does that mean you plan to do something in the future?”
Did I?
I was enjoying the fitting and the easy going atmosphere between us and no one could deny that Xander was a major league hottie? But did I really want something with a biker?
Even if it was just casual sex.
Throwing back his head, he laughed. “Calm down Boo, you look like you’re about to have an aneurysm. I’m just flirting with you. I’m not even going to be around for the next few days. I only popped by to tell you that.”
Honestly I didn’t know what to say to that. “Umm- thanks I guess.”
“You won’t be on your own though. My friend Irish-”
“The one who was smashing up your property last night right?” I couldn’t help it, I glanced towards the perimeter trees and the fence beyond it like I expected another leather cut wearing biker to be just standing there, watching.
Of course there was no one there.
