Love After Leaving: No Regret (Agnes and Raymond) novel Chapter 124

Chapter 124 Raymond’s Call

She hung up and powered off her phone, her chest tight with frustration and anger.

On the other end, Raymond kept calling, but every call went straight to voicemail.

He immediately called his assistant Eden and ordered the fastest flight to Velmara.

That stubborn woman had no idea what she was getting into. Did she really think she could just walk into Velmara and leave in one piece?

Grandridge Hospital.

Rebecca ignored the doctor’s orders to stay for observation. She looked perfectly healthy, nothing like someone who’d just been admitted after a fall.

She gathered her things and got ready to leave.

Before walking out, she handed the doctor a fat envelope. “Thank you for everything last night. You did great. I’ll call if I need anything else.”

The doctor nodded eagerly. “No problem, Ms. Foster. Ms. Young sent you, so I’m happy to help. Just let me know if you need anything.”

Rebecca had never actually fallen. The bleeding was staged. She never planned to go to Velmara

at all.

Everything was just to keep Agnes from suspecting a thing.

As soon as she confirmed Agnes had landed in Velmara, Rebecca called Hillary.

Rebecca said, “She called. She’s there.”

Hillary replied, “Don’t worry, I’ve already set everything up. There’s no way she’s getting out of this. The only thing is, if Raymond can’t find her, he’ll turn the world upside down looking. I’m worried.”

Rebecca said, “That’s your job, Ms. Young. I know you’ll figure out how to keep Mr. Newton busy.”

Hillary paused. “I know what to do.”

Rebecca hung up, a sly smile curling her lips as she looked at her laptop.

The name “Tidewhisper Lily” glowed on the screen.

Agnes, don’t worry. I’ll take care of the shop. Because from now on, it’s mine.

At a certain hotel…

Chapter 124 Raymond’s Call

Hillary packed her bags in her suite. She pulled out a limited-edition designer clutch and admired it, her eyes gleaming.

A knock sounded at the door.

Hillary set the clutch down and opened the door. A woman in sunglasses stood outside.

The moment their eyes met, the two women shrieked with excitement and hugged.

“Hillary! You’re finally back! I’m so happy to see you!”

“Ursa! It’s been forever!”

Finished

Hillary pulled Ursa into the room, glancing up and down the hallway to make sure no one was watching before she shut the door.
