Chapter 125 Two Venomous Vipers

Finished

Ursa clenched her jaw so hard she thought her teeth might shatter. She wanted nothing more than to tear Agnes apart, limb from limb.

She broke down in front of Hillary, her sobs wracking her body.

Hillary felt just as wretched. She had been exiled to Montara, shut away in a psychiatric ward.

Even after she risked her life for Raymond, he acted like he was bewitched by Agnes, tossing her aside without a second thought.

Every disaster in her life seemed to lead right back to Agnes. That woman was like a walking calamity, the kind who could have toppled empires if she’d been born in another century.

Anyone who got close to Agnes ended up in ruins. She was a black hole, draining luck and happiness from everyone around her.

Ursa and Hillary held each other, crying until they were too tired to speak, desperate for even a scrap of comfort.

Eventually, Hillary reached for a designer handbag beside her bed and handed it to Ursa.

“Ursa, I picked this out just for you in Montara. It’s a limited edition from XXX. I knew you’d fall in love with it. I had to sneak back just to see you—your brother still has no clue. He’s so lost in his own misunderstanding of me, but I can’t blame him. Agnes twisted everything. He’s just one more victim.”

Ursa’s eyes sparkled the moment she saw the bag. She recognized the brand instantly. It was a rare edition from XXX.

The price was astronomical. Even with money, you needed connections to get one.

Ursa clutched the purse, her hands trembling with excitement.

“Hillary, you’re way too nice to me! I love you! I tried so many times to get this bag from XXX, but nobody would even answer my calls. You’re amazing! My brother is out of his mind for letting you go and picking Agnes, that trash.”

Hillary watched Ursa fawn over the bag, a sly smile curling on her lips.

“Glad you like it, Ursa. Your brother’s just blinded by lies. I’m not giving up on him. That’s why I came back-I’m taking him back. And I’m not alone this time. Agnes isn’t just ruining our lives. There are others. We’re teaming up to bring her down. Are you with me?”

Ursa hesitated for just a second, then her eyes filled with fire.

“I’m in, Hillary. All the way. What do you need me to do?”

Hillary laid out every detail of her plan with Rebecca. Ursa listened in shock, but her hatred for Agnes was so deep she was willing to do anything.

With Agnes around, nobody was safe.

“So, Hillary, what’s my job?”

Hillary pulled a small box of pills from her bag and pressed it into Ursa’s hand.

“These will put someone into a coma. No side effects, nothing dangerous. The hospital won’t find a thing wrong. Just stop giving them and she’ll wake up.

“Slip these to Sabrina. If she gets sick, Raymond will stay at the hospital with her.

“Spread a rumor that Agnes and Neal are sleeping together.

“Raymond will lose it. With Sabrina sick, he’ll be too distracted to protect Agnes.”

Ursa eyed the pills, uncertain. “Hillary, is this safe? No one’s going to get hurt, right?”

“Relax, it’s fine. I’ve taken them plenty of times. My doctor prescribed them for me. No side effects. Every time I fainted, your brother nearly lost his mind with worry. Look at me—I’m perfectly healthy.”

Ursa nodded, her voice steady. “Alright, Hillary. I’ll get it done.”

Grandridge Airport.

Raymond stormed through the terminal, determined to fly to Velmara and drag Agnes home himself.

The thought of her running off to that city with who knew who made his blood boil. He couldn’t stand another minute not knowing.

Just as the plane’s doors were about to close, his phone rang. For once, it was his father.

Joseph’s voice was frantic. Sabrina had suddenly collapsed and was in the hospital, still unconscious. It was critical. He told Raymond to get to the hospital immediately.

Raymond’s face twisted with anxiety. He hesitated, then left the plane and rushed to the hospital.

Inside, he found Sabrina lying unresponsive, with Joseph pacing outside her room and Jillian putting on a dramatic show of tears.
