Chapter 168 You Died Today
Harvey movements were loud and out of control. He had no sense of manners at all.
People around him frowned. Their eyes were full of dislike and quiet judgment.

These were all wealthy, high-class guests. They cared a lot about behavior and etiquette. Seeing a drunk man who clearly didn’t belong, some shook their heads.
Some whispered to each other. Others simply stepped away to keep their distance.
The air grew tense and awkward.
Hillary’s face flushed. What was wrong with her father? Did he think this was just another casua dinner?
Raymond glanced at her and said gently, “It’s okay, Hillary. I’ll have someone take Harvey to th hotel room so he can rest. He’s just a little too happy today. Had a bit too much to drink.”
With a look from Raymond, a few men in black suits helped Harvey out of the hall.
Who knew how long had passed. When Harvey finally opened his eyes again, he froze. This wasn’t a hotel. He was in a forest. Weeds and tall grass surrounded him.
He rubbed his eyes and shook his head, stunned.
Where was he? How did he end up here? Just a moment ago, he was at Hillary and Raymond’s engagement party. Was he dreaming?
He slapped himself hard. Pain shot through his face. Not a dream. What was going on?!
Harvey stumbled through the forest, trying to find his way back. But no matter how long he walked, it felt like he was going in circles. There was nothing around him but trees and weeds.
The sky slowly darkened. After what felt like forever, he finally saw a faint light ahead.
His heart jumped. He hurried toward it.
But as he got closer, he screamed. His face turned pale. He dropped to the ground and scrambled backward.
The light was coming from a grave. A weak yellow glow flickered above it.
But what truly terrified him was the tombstone. It read, “Beloved Wife, Melody Steele.”

Harvey’s mind went blank. Fear gripped his chest like a tight fist. His heart pounded wildly.
His instincts told him to run, but his body wouldn’t listen. His limbs felt stiff. He kept falling, getting up, then falling again.
How could Melody’s grave be here? He clearly remembered burying her himself.
There was no tombstone! Who did this?! Was Melody still alive?!
Harvey couldn’t tell what was real anymore. He just ran.
Suddenly, a patch of white mist drifted past him. He froze, looking around in panic.
“Who’s there?! Come out! Are you a person or something else?! Show yourself! I’m not afraid of you!”
He shouted into the darkness, even though fear was already eating him alive.
“Melody! I wasn’t scared when you died! Why play tricks now?! Come out if you dare! I can kill you again!”
Silence. Only the low sound of wind. Leaves rustling.
He started to wonder if he was hallucinating.
Maybe he saw it wrong. He turned to go back and check, but then he saw it.
The white mist was drifting toward him. Slowly.
“Haaaarvey! Harvey…! Giiive… me… my… liiife… baaaack!”
The voice was low and cold. It felt like it came from hell. It echoed strangely. Sometimes far away. Sometimes right beside his ear.
It crawled deep into his bones.
Harvey’s body went stiff. He trembled without control. His pupils shrank as he stared at the
mist.
It got closer. Closer. His feet felt nailed to the ground. He wanted to run, but couldn’t move.
Sweat covered his forehead. His back was soaked. His teeth chattered.
“I… died… so… painfully…
