Sabrina grew agitated. She raised her voice at Monica. “You–cough–go outside and bring them here! Now!”

Monica’s eyes turned red. Her voice shook.

“I’m sorry. It’s my fault. I thought you knew. I messed up. Don’t be mad, okay? And don’t bl Raymond. He… he’s really had it hard…”

“Go away!” Sabrina snapped.

Monica ran out crying. The second she stepped outside, she started laughing.

Agnes pushed the door open and called softly, “Sabrina.”

Sabrina had been upset just moments ago, but the moment she saw Agnes, all her Tears streamed down her face.

“Agnes, why haven’t you come to see me?” she sobbed.

Raymond and Agnes acted just like before–close, warm, like nothing had changed.

Sabrina gently wiped her tears.

“You’re a smart girl. If you ever miss me, come back here. The doors of this home will always open for you. Whether you’re part of this family or not, this will always be your home.”

By now, Agnes was crying uncontrollably. She knew Sabrina already understood everything.

But unlike what she expected, Sabrina didn’t try to make her stay.

Agnes couldn’t help wondering–how did Sabrina figure it out? She thought she and Raymon had acted perfectly.

When Agnes stepped out of the room, Raymond was still waiting outside.

Seeing her tear–streaked face, his heart tightened.

“Agnes, are you okay?” he asked gently. “Don’t worry. I’ve brought in the best doctors from all over the world. Grandma will be fine.”

Agnes wiped her tears. “I’m going to move back here. I want to spend more time with her.”

Raymond’s face lit up instantly. His eyes filled with excitement he couldn’t hide.

He tried to steady his voice. “That’s… that’s good. With you here, Grandma will be really happy.”

By now, guests had started arriving at the estate.

From afar, Monica noticed Agnes’s swollen, red eyes. She felt delighted.

She must’ve gotten scolded. Divorced already, and still shamelessly shows her face in the estate.

Just then, Joseph walked over with Calvin and Bianca. When Joseph saw Monica, he smiled brightly.
