Chapter 189 The Final Reveal
Fashion Week was finally reaching its last segment.
In the audience, Monica sat with a smug smile, clearly here to enjoy the show.

She had been invited to the new collection launch. After all, she was a top–tier VIP client for many luxury
brands.
She leaned toward a paparazzo beside her and said quietly,
“When the model from Tidewhisper Lily comes out, you know what to do.”
“Don’t worry, Ms. Hale,” the paparazzo replied. “We already got some insider info. Their model this time? Not exactly clean. She used to take illegal stuff to lose weight. It got exposed before. And now she’s tied to several fraud cases.”
He gave a mocking snort.
‘Using someone like that to present something as classy as purpose. No standards at all. Just chasing attention.”
He grinned wider.
Classical embroidery? They must be doing it on
‘Don’t worry, I’ll help them get famous. I’ve even got the headline ready–Tidewhisper Lily Accused of Using Controversial Model for Publicity–Where’s the Line in Marketing?“”
Monica gave him a thumbs–up. “Impressive. No wonder you’re one of the best. Nothing escapes you.”
“Too kind,” he said. “If you hadn’t tipped us off, we wouldn’t have dug this deep. That model’s past is shocking.”
Monica smiled sweetly.
‘You always make me look good in photos. You boost my image. Of course I’d share big news with you irst.”

On stage, the host finished her long introduction. It was finally time for the grand fin
She glanced at her cue card and frowned for a second.
This wasn’t what they rehearsed.
But she recovered quickly, her voice smooth and confident.
“Next, please welcome Grandridge’s most beloved embroidery brand–Tidewhisper Lily!”
A model stepped onto the runway in a floor–length gown.
She walked to center stage with calm elegance. Her tall, graceful figure drew every eye in the room.
The host continued. “This is Tidewhisper Lily’s latest design–Autumn Grace. Inspired by ink–wash art, it

“As you can see, the water lily embroidery looks vivid and alive. The style shading gives it a clean, refined feel. Pure and elegant–just like a flower rising from the pond.”
The moment she finished, the audience burst into applause.
The black–and–white gown, paired with the model’s figure, was stunning. It became the highlight of the entire show.
“She’s perfect for this style!” someone exclaimed. “That elegance, that presence!”
“Still the number one classical–style brand in Grandridge,” another said.
“Every year they outdo themselves. Classic and modern, perfectly blended. Just beautiful!”
Backstage, the team stood in awe.
“Wow,” Rita said. “Agnes fixed that gown in just one hour?”
Nadia nodded, still amazed.
“It used to be white, but parts of it were burned. She embroidered water lilies over the damaged spots. And
the scorched areas? She turned them into an in ash effect. It actually made the whole design stronger.”
In the audience, Monica heard all the praise. She rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath,
“What’s so great about it? Just black and white. So boring. These people have no taste.”
Then she remembered the scandalous model. She gave the paparazzo a look.
But he frowned.
୮
‘Ms. Hale, the model’s wearing a fringe mask. I can’t get a clear shot of her face. I’ll head backstage and wait. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure Tidewhisper Lily hits the news.”
With that, he rushed off.
Despite earlier trouble, Agnes had reacted quickly and saved the situation.
Not only that, she turned the flaw into the highlight.
