Chapter 23 Super VIP
Agnes taught Andrew with great care. She didn’t just make him memorize words from a book. Instead, she watched cartoons with hinand played video games together.
She also played with him in the yard. While they ran around, she taught him the Caelish names of different things.
This method worked very well for Andrew. He got to play, and without even noticing it, he learned many new words.
Every day, he begged Emily to let him see Agnes. Because of that, Emily was very pleased with Agnes.
Sometimes Emily even took Agnes with her to fancy spas and luxury shopping malls as a reward.
One day, a beauty spa received the newest and most advanced ultrasonic facial machine in the world.
This high–end spa only served super VIP clients. After contacting Emily, they arranged an appointment for her.
Emily invited Agnes to come along.
Under the staff’s guidance, Emily began preparing for the treatment.
Agnes was arranged to rest in another comfortable and spacious room. She listened to soft music while wearing a facial mask and getting a massage.
Suddenly, a loud female voice came from outside the room. Agnes felt the voice sounded very
familiar.
In the other room, the spa staff was enthusiastically explaining the machine’s process and results to Emily.
Soon, Emily was ready to lie down under the device.
Just then, the door suddenly swung open. A woman hurried in, followed by a staff member.
“Ms. Newton, your appointment is in one hour. We really can’t move it earlier because another guest has already booked this time.”

“Then let her do it one hour later,” the woman said impatiently. “I have something urgent today. Do mine
first.”
“I’m sorry, but that lady is Mrs…”
Before the staff could finish speaking, Ursa had already walked up to Emily with a proud and disdainfir look.
“Sorry, ma’am.” Ursa said coldly. “It’s my turn for skincare now. You can wait for the next slot.
After saying that, she laid down directly under the machine.
Emily frowned. “Miss, don’t you understand first come, first served? I made this appointment in advance”

Chapter 23–per Vin
This was the first time Emily had met someone so rude in such a high–end place. Still, she stayed polite.
But Ursa had a bad temper. She didn’t listen at all.
Instead, she snapped impatiently. “We should be flexible, not follow rules like robots. Do you even know where you are? Do you know who I am?
“I’m a super VIP here. Do you know how much money I spend at this place every year?
“I’ve seen plenty of people like you. You’re just a parvenu. You think spending a little money here makes you part of high society?”
The staff member began to sweat nervously and hurried to stop her..
“I’m sorry, but this lady is also one of our super VIP clients. She…
Ursa cut her off. “Shut up! I’m doing it now! Let me tell you–if you offend me, this spa won’t be able to stay open in Grandridge!”
Ursą rolled her eyes. The staff looked extremely troubled. They didn’t dare offend either side.
Seeing this, Emily didn’t want to lower herself by arguing with such a rude person. She simply turned and walked away.
The staff hurried after her, apologizing again and again, “I’m so sorry, Mrs. Emily. We only have one machine. You really did book it first. We’re very sorry.”
Not far away, Agnes had just arrived and saw everything. She felt a little surprised. Ursa didn’t recognize Emily?
The Newtons and the Ruells had been discussing a marriage alliance for a long time. Had they never met before?
Agnes slowly curled her lips into a faint, knowing smile. If Ursa knew the woman she had just insulted was Neal’s mother, what kind of expression would she have?
If this had happened before, Agnes would have rushed in to smooth things over. She would have introduced them to each other before Ursa started arguing.
But this time, she had purposely stayed outside. She simply wanted to watch the drama unfold.
Emily, still upset, found Agnes and complained to her. Agnes comforted her for quite a while.
The spa staff also kept apologizing. After all, if they offended the Ruells, their spa wouldn’t be able to stay. open in Grandridge either.
