Agnes turned and went straight to find Raymond.

Raymond was sitting in his office chair, reading through documents, when he heard the door open.

He was just about to lose his temper, but the moment he saw it was Agnes, his whole expression lit up.

“Agnes, you came to see me?”

“What did I tell you yesterday? Look at this now. The Hales aren’t saved, and your money’s all gone to waste!”

Agnes stared at him in disbelief. “You know?”

Raymond nodded lightly, a gentle smile still on his lips.

Raymond stood, took her hand, and pulled her toward the door.

“Hey, where are we going? What are you doing?”

Raymond said calmly, “The Hales filed for bankruptcy liquidation today. Let’s go take a look.”

Agnes froze, wondering if something was seriously wrong with him.

A hundred billion is gone, and he doesn’t even flinch. And now he has the mood to go watch the Hales get liquidated?

Seeing the blank look on her face, Raymond smiled. “What, you don’t want to see how it ends?”

Agnes frowned slightly. “Raymond, are you hiding something from me?”

“By that logic, I’m now the largest shareholder.

“If the company’s being liquidated today, shouldn’t I be here?”

He glanced at Agnes.

“She’s the chairman’s daughter. She has inheritance rights. Shouldn’t she be here too?”
