Love Burned, She Rose Unscathed novel Chapter 894

So this was the infamous "Malloy."

Now that their backup had arrived, the previously subdued goons stirred, scrambling to their feet and running behind the newcomers. They immediately began to complain.

"Malloy! These are the guys! They didn't just hurt Fabian and Jay, they beat up all of us!"

"You gotta teach them a lesson!"

"Yeah! They hit us, but they disrespected you! You can't let this slide, Malloy!"

"Exactly! If we don't get revenge, what's going to happen to the reputation of our crew, The Stallions?"

The scrawny young man's face darkened as he listened.

Fabian was overjoyed, already picturing his enemies' demise and his own triumphant revenge.

But in the next second—*thwack*!

A fist connected with his jaw, leaving Fabian completely stunned.

Jay, covered in blood, didn't escape either. The fist that had struck Fabian turned into an open palm, landing with a crisp smack across his face.

"L-Malloy?!" the brothers stammered as if in a dream. "Wh-what was that for?"

"Idiots!" Malloy snarled. After striking them, he turned on the other goons, kicking and punching them. "A bunch of useless idiots!"

"Don't you even know who you're dealing with? How dare you act so brazenly in front of Mr. Neal!"

Having vented his anger, he turned to the bald man with a fawning, sycophantic smile. "I'm so sorry, Neal. Please don't mind them. This bunch of losers is always causing trouble for me."

The bald man, Neal, gave a smirk that didn't reach his eyes. "Well, well. Our Malloy is really moving up in the world. Got your own crew now… 'The Stallions,' is it? Planning on taking over and becoming the top dog?"

"Not bad, not bad. It's good for a young man to be ambitious! Daring, driven… you should all learn from him—"

Just as Malloy was about to stoke the flames, a sharp slap landed across his face.

This time, it was Malloy who was left stunned.

"N-Neal?!"

Everyone else stared in shock, especially Fabian and Jay.

But the bald man didn't even glance at him. Instead, he walked straight up to Corley with a smile.

"Mr. Sullivan. You're in town, why didn't you give me a call? I would have loved to host you."

Corley's tone was icy, and he made no move to accept the friendly gesture. "Forget the pleasantries. Let's deal with the matter at hand, shall we?"

Neal beamed. "Of course!" He then gestured to the two huge men by Corley's side. "Mr. Sullivan, I trust my men have been useful?"
