“She was your fated Mate.” I state matter–of–factly and he tells me how she found out years before he did. “She showed off every man she screwed in front of me until the day I found out she was my Mate.

She had hoped I would reject her and that that would give her the chance of finding a second chance Mate, but I didn’t give her that satisfaction. I called her out in front of every one and it pissed her off so much that she rejected me.” I smile at the proud look on his face.

“Good for you. She doesn’t deserve a second chance, not with a mindset like hers.” I state and Justice growls in my head at the stupidity of this woman. We reach the training grounds as we talk about the schedules for training.

Every Warrior trains as much as they possibly can and everyone else trains whenever they want. There is no particular time for training, expect for the Pups up to the age of eighteen.

They training twice a week during school hours and when Adam tells me that those will be my training hours as well I snort. “Adam, I will train whenever I want, with whomever I want. If I have to train with the Pups, than Doc will become very busy.” I say and he tells me that this is not up for discussion.

“This is how the King has set the rules and he doesn’t make an exception for anyone, Your Highness.” He replies. I thank Adam for his time and tell him that I will explore the Palace grounds, before he can say anything I walk away quickly.

“The King’s rules. No exceptions. What the fuck, Hunter?” Justice keeps ranting in my head and I don’t blame her, after all we already know that training with the Pups is asking for trouble.

Alpha Malcolm started training me after my first shift and after two weeks he put me in the training slot with the Pups my age. Within forty–eight hours he pulled me out and it took almost a week to find out that I was almost as good as his best Warriors.

Within a year I was able to defeat all his Warriors and the only ones that were able to defeat me were Alpha Malcolm, his Gamma and his Beta. We never told Mom I was trained by our Gamma, she would have had a heart–attack if she found out I was fighting grown men.

Justice is having a ball in my head as she pictures us kicking Adam’s ass, just to prove a point. “Or Dad’s ass, just to show him that he doesn’t have all the answers.” I say as Justice and I chuckle at that image.

I walk around the Palace gardens to see what they look like during the day, the first path I walk

There are Daylilies in every color with ruffled and double petals, there are Fanflowers along the borders in purple and white and I see African Daisies and African Lilies.

Every path I walk on is different; either in color or in stone, but they all look amazing and are crossing through flowers, bushes, shrubs and trees. Every now and then a path goes over a pond with Koi carps in them, I have gone down on my hunches quiet a few times to just stare at them.

I don’t think I will ever tire of walking around the gardens, I love the peace and quiet that resides here and I wonder how they keep the shrubs and bushes in these shapes.

I have seen cones, balls and even animal shapes and not to forget the garden with it’s path running in between bushes planted in the shape of a heart or a circle. There were even a few benches spread out through the garden and I know where I will be heading if I need time to myself.

As the Palace comes back in to view it is near ten in the morning and I decide it is time for my two little lovebirds to wake up. I follow Gabe’s scent and I find his room very quickly, giving it a loud knock, I wait for them to open up the door.

Brent seems embarrassed that I saw him naked and I make it pretty clear that his cock isn’t the first I have ever seen. I am a shifter after all and shifting is easier when you are naked, it is also less expensive if you don’t rip your clothes every time you shift.

“Why are you up so early, Princess?” Brent asks and I turn to face him as I say, “What is it with people asking me what I am doing up so early? First Peter and Chris and now you. Normally I would be in school by now, it is already ten o’clock, BeeBee.”

They both stare at me as they start cussing and swearing, Brent rushes into the bathroom and Gabe rushes in to the walk–in closet to get dressed. “Should we tell them that everyone else is still asleep?” I ask Justice as I watch both men running around the room.

“Nah, maybe on the way downstairs.” She replies as she is rolling around in my head. I shake my head at her, but decide not to mention that the rest of the family is still sleeping.

Jayce’s P.O.V.

Colt is pacing up and down my head as I wake up slowly, I scold him for waking me and I want to turn to my side to get back to sleep.

“I want to see our Mate.” He whines and I shoot up straight in my bed. Fuck, I had forgotten about that, we found our Mate and today we would learn more about her.
