She had said, “Dad, I know I will be at a risk after the Harvest Moon. I don’t want you or Mom to worry about my safety and if this team accomplishes that, I will except it.”

I smile as I smell the scent of my Daughter and I wonder why no one told me that she had arrived. My jaw drops when I open the door and look at my gorgeous Daughter, she looks so grown up with her make–up and dress.

“Why didn’t…” but I don’t get the chance to finish as she pushes me back into my room. “No one knows I am here, Mom. During my first year here I explored a lot with Ella and Emma and we found a few hidden corridors.” She whispers.

I smile at her as I stare at the woman in front of me and I almost feel sorry for the boys and their Lycans. Almost, because a small part of me believes they deserve a little payback for chasing my Daughter out of the Palace.

I know they couldn’t help themselves in being over–protective, but I am going to enjoy the struggle they face tonight. I just hope that they remember what I told them and that they will wait until tomorrow before telling Hunter.

Elder Marcus had consulted with the rest of the Council Elders and they agreed with us that the boys need to tell Hunter who she is to them. There have been quiet a lot of Lycans that made it clear that they changed for the worst over the past year.

A few Pack–members that came to the Palace for a meeting had been talking about Hunter and Jax, who had already been in a foul mood, had slammed one of them in to a wall. Growling at the male to never mention Hunter again, the Council had been unaware of the situation and had just told the male Jax was an over–protective Brother.

When Daniel and I had informed Elder Marcus he had contacted the other Elders immediately and they gave their permission to the boys to inform Hunter, but Elder Marcus had warned us all that Hunter would not like it.

The Council had ordered them to accept what ever Hunter wanted, short of rejection. That was something they do not have to accept and I hope she will not speak those words.

Jayce’s P.O.V.

Colt is pacing in my head and he is giving me a headache, not that I can blame him. After all, today for the first time in almost a year we will be seeing our Mate again and I am just as restless as he is.

Tonight we are all dressed up as per request of the King, this Harvest Moon the invitation stated “Black Tie” as dress code and the mention of a special announcement.

The invitations were sent out three months ago and the rumor mill has been running over time. Most of the rumors concern the King and vary from finding his Mate to a pregnancy, a few concern Alpha Daniel and a pregnancy and a few concern me and my Brothers.
