"What does that mean?" Nangong Jin blinked, "Does it mean Di Mingchen did it on purpose? Going with the flow and all that?"
"Exactly!" Di Mingjue slapped his thigh decisively, "That’s exactly what it means!"
"You think so too?" Nangong Jin turned to look at Di Mingzhe.
Di Mingzhe pondered for a moment, finally nodding, "Second brother has never been someone to act recklessly. He could have not joined this game, or even skipped the overnight stay by saying there was something at the military district. Why did he choose to stay?"
Nangong Jin thought about it and realized it made sense.
"Exactly." Di Mingjue said, "Second brother is just shy, didn’t you see he drank a bottle of wine to boost his courage?"
Nangong Jin furrowed his brow. Somehow it didn’t seem like Di Mingchen drank to boost his courage, but he couldn’t pinpoint what it was for.
Anyway, the fact remained that Di Mingchen stayed tonight.
Nangong Jin stopped talking and simply sat down to wait for Di Mingchen to return along with Di Mingzhe and Di Mingjue.
The bets downstairs were already on, while upstairs they were still unaware, buzzed and gossiping fiercely.
Nangong Ran felt dizzy and confused by the three of them, unable to make heads or tails of what was going on.
Seeing her still not getting it, Di Xiaxia suddenly remembered something, slapping her forehead and said to Nangong Ran, "Oh right, there’s something important I forgot to show you!"
Saying that, she hurriedly opened her phone.
"What is it?" Nangong Ran asked, looking bewildered.
"A video of second brother fighting." Di Xiaxia said without looking up.
Nangong Ran was stunned.
