Nangong Lin stared speechlessly at the closed door, finally pouting. Well, given that he’s both dumb and pathetic, she’ll indulge him a bit.
Nangong Lin downed the juice in her cup in one gulp, then picked up the milk and headed to Alvin’s room.
He had his eyes closed, seemingly resting. His face didn’t look as pale anymore.
"Have some milk," Nangong Lin said as she walked over and sat by the bed.
Alvin opened his eyes, sat up, and stared at her, asking, "Is it hot?"
"It shouldn’t be," Nangong Lin replied, anyway the cup felt like a good temperature.
"Try it," Alvin continued to stare at her.
"Oh." Nangong Lin blinked, wondering, try it, how?
She couldn’t disgustingly stick her finger into the milk to test the temperature, right?
Seemingly noticing Nangong Lin’s embarrassment, Alvin kindly suggested, "Take a sip to try."
Only then did Nangong Lin realize, yes, she could take a sip first.
Nangong Lin nodded, immediately raised the cup and took a sip; the temperature was very suitable.
She was just about to swallow the milk and tell him the temperature was fine, no longer too hot, when suddenly warm lips pressed against hers, and without a word, swiftly sucked the milk from her mouth.
Nangong Lin was stunned.
When she came to her senses, her face turned red with embarrassment, especially as Alvin tantalizingly licked his lips with the tip of his tongue and chuckled, "Hmm, the temperature is indeed just right."
"You!" Nangong Lin’s face turned crimson, feeling a rush of anger and humiliation, she shoved the milk into Alvin’s hand and actually ran off.
Alvin blinked, a bit confused.
Wanting to set down the milk and chase after her, but unfortunately he’d had an IV drip; he didn’t know how to remove the needle, but he knew doing it randomly would cause uncontrollable bleeding.
