Alvin eventually left feeling a bit suffocated.
That bad feeling in his heart was getting heavier, and he felt that Nangong Lin was intentionally avoiding him.
He wasn’t stupid, not to the point where he couldn’t sense this.
But she wouldn’t easily avoid him, because soon it would be Saturday, the day of his concert’s press conference.
No matter what, Nangong Lin would go, because she had already accepted the announcement.
And the company’s publicity had already been set in motion: the superstar’s concert, featuring the film queen as a special guest.
Rumor has it the media is as excited as if they were on stimulants, and despite the event not having begun, various reports were already coming out.
Fans were naturally excited too, as this was Alvin’s first concert since signing with the Empire.
So the momentum was tremendous.
Nangong Lin couldn’t help but realize there was no avoiding it.
The press conference was held in a large hotel conference hall; the weather was rather cool today, but it was fine indoors.
Early in the morning, Alvin was up and ready for everything, waiting outside Nangong Lin’s door.
He waited for quite a while until eight o’clock, when Nangong Lin finally opened the door.
Seeing Alvin squatting by her door startled her, "Whoa, what the hell are you doing here?"
"Waiting for you." With two simple words, Alvin stood up, "Have you gotten everything ready?"
"I’m all set." Nangong Lin felt a bit embarrassed.
"Then let’s go." Alvin, without a word, took her hand.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Nangong Lin struggled from behind, "Let go."
"What’s wrong with you?" Alvin didn’t let go of Nangong Lin’s hand, instead coldly asking.
