Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Hear Me Out

The doorbell rang suddenly, as urgent as the call of death.

The one who opened the door was Zhang Mama, the Gu family’s old nanny.

"Third Young Master?" Zhang Mama bowed respectfully, "Why have you come?"

"I’m looking for Gu Xiaoqi." Di Mingjue intruded.

"Third Young Master." Zhang Mama followed him, unable to keep up with Di Mingjue’s pace. He moved very quickly, and each step was filled with an intimidating aura that even scared Zhang Mama.

"Where is Gu Xiaoqi?" Di Mingjue turned his head, clearly out of patience.

"Miss Qibao is upstairs." Zhang Mama pointed, unable to suppress a shudder. The third young master’s demeanor was really terrifying!

Seeing the sisters discussing enthusiastically, Gu Qibao finally breathed a sigh of relief, interjected them, and pleadingly bowed, "Elder sisters, since you know that Di Mingjue is no good, you must help me. If I marry him, my life will be ruined."

"You’ve got to listen to my explanation!" Gu Qibao’s voice was filled with fear and desperation.

"Damn you, you beast, let me go!"

The feisty little wildcat began to make threats again. Di Mingjue cast a glance at her, his dark eyes filled with frosty coldness. He flicked his thin lips and uttered a sentence, "Shut up, or I’ll bend you."

Upon hearing this, Gu Qibao quivered and immediately shut her mouth, whimpering, "Why are you so fierce."

The moment she finished speaking, she was thrown into a car by Di Mingjue.

"Damn it!" Gu Qibao felt dizzy from the impact, rubbing her aching head. This guy was beyond rude.

When Di Mingjue got into the car, the temperature seemed to drop several degrees.
