The waiter came over quickly, bowing respectfully. “Guests, our manager said your meal is on the house.”
Rickie was blown away. He glanced at the calm Margaret, his mind racing.
No way… could what she said be true?
“Let’s go.” Margaret’s expression was always cool and calm-never showing joy or anger. Even when she smiled, she gave off an untouchable vibe.
“Yes.” Rickie pushed down his shock and scurried after her. He was certain-sticking with Margaret would lead him to the top of his life!
“Boss, what’s wrong?” As they walked down the corridor after leaving the private room, Margaret suddenly stopped.
Her eyes fixed on the private room across the hall.
The window of that room was open. From Margaret’s position, she could clearly see a man and a woman dining and chatting nonstop.
Rickie followed her gaze, then his mouth dropped open in shock.
“That girl! She’s a royal princess!” he exclaimed excitedly. “I saw her from afar once when I went to a banquet with my dad!”
Karemin had a complex system. Though it was a modern, open, and democratic society run by a president, the royal family still existed.
And they weren’t just figureheads-they held great political influence in Karemin.
“Whoa! That guy is so handsome! From here, he looks like a noble duke in a drama-super powerful aura, totally untouchable. Hell, even as a guy, I think he’s drop-dead gorgeous!
“I remember now. That guy must be the famous Mr. Mohler! The heir to that ancient family-the one called the God of Death who has a mental illness!”
Rickie’s voice trembled with shock.
His family was rich, but in Karemin, families like the royal family, the Mohler family, and the recently rising Tucker family were the ones who truly controlled the country’s fate-their status was supreme.
Rickie leaned in, gossiping. “There were rumors in Capaville’s elite circles that the royal family was eyeing a marriage alliance with the Mohler family. Now that the princess and Mr. Mohler are actually dining together? Those rumors must be true!
“Royal princess and ancient family heir-they’re perfect for each other in status! And Mr. Mohler and the princess look like a match made in heaven!”
Rickie rambled on, his eyes lighting up like he was shipping a couple.
Margaret looked away, her delicate face cold as ice. “Rickie, shut up! No one’s gonna think you’re mute if

That one glance from Margaret sent chills down Rickie’s spine. Fear flooded him, like his blood had frozen solid.
Whoa, her eyes are scary as hell-she’s practically oozing killing intent. Did I just mess up what I said?
Margaret’s sharp gaze locked onto the dining couple not far away, her brows furrowed coldly. She looked even more icy than usual.
Why is my Andrew having dinner with another woman? It felt like my most prized possession was being stolen right from under me!
For Margaret, who had extreme cleanliness, possessiveness, and control issues, this was unacceptable. Andrew belongs only to me!
His blood smelled so sweet-she was selfish, and would never let anyone share him.
Beneath Margaret’s cold eyes, a bloodthirsty rage churned wildly. It was like a bloodthirsty beast was about to burst out of her.
Andrew was now the most important thing to her-more important than her own life. Anyone who dared to take him away would suffer a fate worse than death.
Rickie sensed Margaret’s change. Her sharp killing intent felt tangible, leaving him terrified and breathless. He quietly stepped back a little.
He could tell-Margaret was scarier now than ever before.
Even when she stabbed Ruby without blinking an eye in the abandoned factory, she’d been like a cold- blooded killer. That had been terrifying too.
But nothing compared to this. Right now, her cold killing intent made it feel like she was going to destroy the whole world in the next second.
Margaret turned to the retreating Rickie, her expression sharp and dangerous. She ordered, “Get down and do a hundred push-ups.”
“A hundred push-ups? Why? I’m so round I could roll myself home. I can’t do that!” Rickie was confused. He had no idea which part of his words had angered her.
“I didn’t like what you said.”
Only she and Andrew were a perfect match-made in heaven.
