Everly glared at Nate as she said coldly, “Mr. Tatum, I made myself very clear just now. If you continue to bother me, don’t blame me for being merciless. Your family still wants to do business in Clearfield, correct?

“Don’t assume I’ll play nice just because my uncle introduced you to me. He can’t even put on the airs of an elder before me. I don’t even play nice with him, much less with you and your family.

Everly normally would not scold a person so harshly, but Nate pulling Sonny into it had thoroughly pissed her off. She did not hold back as she called Nate a mad dog who was indiscriminately harassing people.
