"Woah~ .... isn’t that~ .... isn’t that a Bentley?" Wendy spoke in surprise; her eyes fixated on the passing vehicle, admiring it. "Is it just me, or there are too many luxurious cars entering the University today, hmm?" she asked. "Do any of you have any idea why?"

"Ohh~ ... Grandpa told me last night. Apparently, Chairman Larson has finally woken up. So, quite a few business tycoons and prominent figures from different industries have come to check up on his recovery and well-being," Yelena answered casually.

"Ahh~ ... that’s why?" Wendy nodded in understanding, and so did Myra. The three of them were walking to the campus. Wendy then added, "What a great and admirable figure Chairman Larson is. I wish I could become someone as respectable as him."

"True that. He really is a top tier, godly figure. I have met him twice, and his sense of humour is top notch. He doesn’t make you uncomfortable at all," Yelena said. She then glanced Myra’s way, who had been silent. Normally, whenever they were talking about Jacob Larson, Myra would start reciting words of praise for him one after another. So, Yelena found this reticence a little unusual. "Hey, Ra-ra~ ... what’s up with you? You seemed rather dazed today? Got something on your mind, babe? Are you okay?" she queried.

Hearing her name, Myra flinched. She had been thinking of what to say to Brave when she saw him later. She wanted to give him an answer as soon as possible and be over with this mate drama. "Huhh~ .... Sorry, uhh~ ... I am fine. I was thinking about the class I have missed. By the way, what were you guys talking about?"

"Who else, your favourite Sir Larson," Wendy chimed. "Sis Yel said he is awake and well now."

"Ahh~ ... I know. I am glad he is back on his feet," Myra said with a smile, recalling her brief meeting with him yesterday.

They were busy conversing on their own~ ... when a vintage, Mustique blue Rolls Royce drove past them. The window rolled down as a pristine white scarf fluttered with the wind and swayed in the opposite direction. It landed near the girls as they halted to look at it.

Myra quickly picked it up from the ground. The fine dust that had settled on it, she brushed it off carefully, though the dirt on it wasn’t fully cleaned. She glanced in the direction of the vehicle, which had already gone out of their sight. She folded it neatly when Yelena remarked, "Let’s drop that in a nearby bin. It’s dirty already."

"No, it looks expensive and might be important; the owner may come looking for it. I will submit it to the lost and found personnel," Myra replied.

"As you wish," Yelena said as they neared the intersection where they parted ways. Myra waved to the two of them and headed in the other direction. As she walked, she noticed quite a lot of eyes were on her, some pitiful, some purely curious, and some with admiration. She was expecting it. After all, the ugly episode with Nigel Long and his family, everyone on the campus knew about it. The confession video he had posted was still online, making the rounds. She didn’t give them any heed and strode confidently.
