Chapter 129-2

Unable to control my natural mate instincts, I leaned down, taking her lips with mine, wanting to take away all the pain I had caused her, along with removing any doubt that she may have in that head of hers that I wanted another over her. I was done being a puppet in everyone’s game, and I was now going to think for myself not allowing anyone to have influence on me and what I want.
The tension in Raven’s body tightened, especially when I pushed her back up against the wall, pinning her between it and me. I wanted to make sure that she couldn’t slip away from me this time, as I needed to make a clear statement to her.
If my brothers and I were going to win this war against the rogues, then all three of us would have to be on the same page when it came to Raven. I wasn’t going to allow our pack to fall because of me and my stupidity.
In the back of my head, I knew that Jessica this whole time was just a distraction for me, and also a way to get back at my brothers, but now knowing the truth about her, I felt like I had betrayed my family. If it wasn’t for the fact that I knew that it was going to take all three of us to protect Raven and keep our pack safe, I probably would have headed to the mountains, just like my uncle, to hide my disgusting face from everyone.
I was now ashamed of my own behavior, and I was pissed off at myself for even entertaining Jessica and her mother’s plan, but it was all now hopefully water under the bridge, and I just prayed that we could move forward from here. But first, I needed Raven’s forgiveness, even though I knew that I didn’t deserve it.
However, even with her forgiveness, I needed her to know that I acknowledged that I was an ass, and that I deserve whatever she decides my fate with her shall be. I just hoped that I didn’t fully sever the bond between us, but with her lips moving now against mine, I had to believe that this was an indication that our bond was still intact.
My wolf was now on complete edge, as he savored the smell of our mate’s innocence, now mixing with the sweet scent of her arousal for us. It was taking every ounce of restraint I had left in me not to allow him to take control, as I knew he had a one–track mind, and that was making her officially our mate and our Luna.
But I knew Raven wasn’t of age just yet, as she had literally days until her birthday. Plus, Raven may now know what we are, but I was sure that no one had fully explained our world to her and what she truly was to us.
With knowing all of this, I knew that I could only allow this moment between us to go so far. but as she parted her lips, allowing my tongue to enter, I couldn’t stop the moan that now

came from me, as I took in and savored her delectable taste. In the janitor’s closet at school, I had got a sample of what she tasted like, but now not resisting the bond between us, her taste was amplified by ten, making me desire her even more.
I knew by giving into the pull of the bond that there was a strong chance that I may be the one that ends up getting hurt in the end, but if I do, then so be it, because I deserve honestly whatever punishment the Moon Goddess and Raven deem fit for me. If it’s a life of torture, then so be it, but having this moment with Raven right now, having her in my arms like this and tasting her as my mate, then it is what it is, because I would forever savor this one moment in time with her.
But with an evident fire igniting between us, something was telling me that this wasn’t just going to be a one–moment–in–time thing. The bond between the two of us was humming louder than I ever heard it hum before, telling me that she didn’t want to sever the bond between us.
