Chapter 175-1
Raven’s POV
I watched Cash’s eyes widen as he swallowed hard, making his Adam’s apple bob, all while his posture stiffened, leaving him lying beside me on the bed like a statue. This was definitely not the response I thought my spoken desires would have gotten me, especially with Cash, but here he was frozen in time, with his lips in a firm line, almost as if he was afraid to say a word or move an inch towards me.
The small distance on the bed between us felt like miles, as I just lay there on my side staring at him, praying that he would wake up from whatever it was stopping him from taking what I knew he truly wanted. At first, I was blaming it all on my heat, but as I lay there in silence, observing him, it was clear that there was something else holding him back.
Of course, my thoughts immediately went to a dark place, thinking that maybe he had changed his mind about wanting to be with me. Just the mere thought of this made my stomach curl into a knot, which made the fire burning inside of me ignite into a blaze.
Tears instantly began to pool in my eyes, as I rolled over onto my back, while I tried to do my best to hide not only the physical pain I was now in, but also to conceal the feeling of being rejected by him. My mind kept circling back to the fact that he had come all this way to find me, and that he risked his life not only to save Mazie, but to save me too, telling me that this resistance wasn’t because he didn’t want me, but because of something else.
Regardless of what it was, my heat had other plans for the two of us, and I found my body inadvertently rolling back over onto its side, but it just didn’t stop there. Instead, my body continued to roll right on top of Cash, mounting him as if he was one of the stallions back at
the ranch.
“Raven…” Painfully moaned from his lips, as his hands moved to my hips, gripping them tightly, while the heat between my thighs came in direct contact with the huge bulge in his
pants.
It was clear that even though he was trying his best to put some distance between us, and put a halt to what we had started, his body was clearly on a different page than he was. There now was no doubt in my mind that he wanted me just as badly as I wanted him, especially when my hips began to rock, causing the most delectable friction between us
Cash could have easily put a halt to all of this, but instead, he says through gritted teeth, as if he was still in pain, “Screw the promise I made.”
Before I knew what was happening, his hands began to guide my hips, as he thrusted his

pelvis straight into me, pressing his hardness firmly against the sensitive spot between my thighs. His hands immediately began to guide my hips in a rhythm that sent a continuous shockwave a pleasure straight to the fire burning in my core.
The thin material of my panties dampened with each rock of my hips, making the sensitive pink flesh beneath them feel like it was smoothly gliding against his hardness. Unfortunately, that thin piece of material was acting as a barrier, a barrier that was causing neither Cash nor I to get full satisfaction.
Knowing this, I leaned forward, capturing Cash’s lips with my own, as I moved my hands to the waistline of my pants, because even though I was enjoying the sensation I was feeling right now, it wasn’t enough to completely feed the hunger inside of me from my heat. But as I began to tug at my pants, trying to pull them down, Cash rolled us over in one swift motion, taking the upper position on top of me.
His hands were no longer on my hips, but instead they were firmly wrapped around my wrists, holding my arms above my head, while his hips were now positioned between my thighs. My legs on their own accord wrapped around Cash’s lower body like an anaconda, pulling his pelvis firmly back against my now extremely sensitive hot spot.
